Damon Wayans says that even at 65 years old, if Keenen tells him to get him a soda, he's going to go get it, because in their family, itโ€™s all about an unspoken code of respect, seniority, and brotherly hierarchy. โ€œYeah, but like even now, this is how my family is. Like, I'm 65 years old and Keenen goes, "Go get me a soda," and I got to go get it.โ€ โ€œIf Marlon walks in a room, and you know, if I walk in a room and there's no seats, Marlon gets up. Sean and Keenen will sit, and Marlon will get up and say, "You sit here." And my son will have to do the same thing.โ€ โ€œThat's why I love the fact that they have children. Because I go to my theater sometimes and little Damon's there and Mikey's there, and as soon as I walk in the room, the youngest one gets up and lets me sit down without question, and I love that.โ€ โ€œIt's just how we do with each other. It's just a quiet code. Some things you don't have to teach, it's just what you see.โ€

These companies know that. Thatโ€™s why theyโ€™re all jumping in headfirst into it to find or make ways to utilize it. Itโ€™s trial and error season. Jump in with them lol. Think long term. What can you do now to make a change later? Step 1: Educate yourself about it

It will eventually get to a point where the gap becomes those who know and those who donโ€™t. At every level and role.

AI has negatives and positives like anything else. The issue is that some ppl want to be extremists about one side or the other to the point that itโ€™ll trick em out they spot. I love the passion, but I have my own opinions about it. Iโ€™m setting myself up for success.

Like it or not AI isnโ€™t going anywhere. Thatโ€™s why most companies have added AI knowledge and usage as a part of peopleโ€™s job requirements. Itโ€™s a part of yearly performance reviews too. Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™ve been telling people to learn about it for years now, but ya know.. hey.

Yall can also have copilot help you build your agent lol. It knows itself best. Itโ€™ll literally walk you through it too. Most companies have copilot premium. Try to build something to help you do your job more efficiently.

Unfortunately, itโ€™s not easy to explain in a tweet lol. Hereโ€™s a YouTube video that does a great job at getting you started. Iโ€™d say the most important parts *for me* when Iโ€™m building is the knowledge, what I give it access to, and remembering to tell it what NOT to do as well. youtu.be/Iz3ul6hSeTs?is=vvAwโ€ฆ

This is your reminder to add what NOT to do to your AI prompts.

I wish yall could see how crazy these political campaigns in Ohio have been. This year was one of the worst. They came with every nasty thought and campaign that they could. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Donโ€™t forget that you can pivot in the industry youโ€™re already in and it may be an easier entry point! Every company has an IT department. Is there someone in that department now that you can ping and network with, set up some time with, and see if you can move into a role there to get some experience then move on. Business acumen is just as important as technical skillset.
