and this is what i meant when i say the team lacks respect and sincerity. Indians and Hindus are definitely not the target audience for their output. they want to make money in $$$

my sister highlighted yesterday that the hate on sai pallavi for the role of Sita is getting too much. see the issue is not with sai pallavi playing the role of Sita. it's about the makers projecting it as a high budget global movie when her looks are not even convincing. again, why are the looks so important? cuz everyone in India already knows the story. I see atleast a serial on Ramayan made every 2 yrs. we have all grown on various Ramayan movies from childhood. you need to be extra careful on the cast when the story is already known. you need to convince people that this is how Ram ji and Sita maa would have looked like. of course you can watch Ramayan a thousand times. But when you're projecting such high numbers, scale and grandeur, we naturally expect a fantastic output. I'm comparing every poster and song with serials like Siya ke Ram and Ramananda Sagar's Ramayan. and it's not even a 10th of what these serials left as an impact.

you need to have "everything's gonna workout for me always" kinda attitude to live and lead your life to the fullest. dropping low after a setback isn't gonna work for better.

i spent 2hrs on instagram without feeling bored or tired yesterday. i was watching the time spent. wanted to get up from the bed and stop scrolling. but couldn't. i gave myself a few more minutes after every 15mins and the time just flew by. i could have completed more than 10k steps in those 2 hrs. could have completed 3 chapters of a book i started. could have cleaned the messy rooms. but ended up wasting time, feeling guilty. content consumption harms your brain more than the junk you eat. gen with reels is definitely gonna end up broken mentally, physically and financially.

I'm really terrified of switching jobs, promotions and increments. there used to be a time when all of these meant happiness. all i want is a stable income and a happy life. is it too much to ask? @sama @DarioAmodei

let it fail big time, no one should dare making a Ramayan movie again without proper cast, research and respect.
Never have i ever wanted a film to fail as much as i want Ramayana to fail

"So please, don't worry about me or him" this is what i was talking about. if people have serious problems with their relationships, they will come out and speak. If the issues are so negligible compared to them being together, they stay. you needn't analyze every single detail and cancel out relationships based on what you think is an ideal relationship. no one can give 50 50 to a relationship in every aspect. expecting cheesy stuff from every single man is delusional. they shall learn if that's what their partners are expecting. if the concerned couple is ok with each other's behaviour, then we are in no way responsible for teaching them how they should be according to us. let people live on their own terms.

it's not every girl's priority to hand over the bottle opened. you're all nitpicking way too much.
I know a guy who’d offer me water first & even if he handed me the bottle, he’d still open it for me Ik ik 💗 just saying🙃

homo sapiens are traditionally social creatures. but with the amount of loneliness that's creeping in, i don't think we're gng to be social beings anymore.

you really judge couples from just a few statements but the relationships, in reality, are messier, deeper, clumsy and incomprehensible. people really are safe in their marriages unless a person says something otherwise. so chill. #RashmikaDevarakonda

manager suggested an enhancement. i sat the whole evening yesterday to complete it. today he wants to keep it simple and merge the PR asap. he blames me for over complicating things moreover when he was the who suggested it in the first place 🤷

my father-in-law never helped at chores these 10 days. all he did was bring vegetables of his choice from the market and torcher my MIL until she cooked them according to his taste. neither did he perform pooja or abhishekam nor did he help the women cook and clean. me and my MIL had to do nitya pooja, abhishekam and cooking while he slept late, woke up late, watched reels or television the whole day. i just got really pissed off with his behaviour towards MIL especially those tantrums while eating even when everything was perfect. retired misogynists are the worst.
mother-in-law helped a lot in the kitchen, i was actually surprised. i thought she wouldn't work at all if they visit since that's been the practice so far. but idk if my raising concerns worked at home, she was much better this time. i used to cook everything even before she wakes up everyday. but after a few days, she asked me to cook just tiffins and dal and she would take care of curry. that continued till yesterday when she took up the whole kitchen duty as i went on periods. she never disturbed me when I was in work too. she understood the work boundaries and the fact that i would be on calls and couldn't respond sometimes. that lifted some burden off my shoulders. grateful for the help and the understanding 🙏 it wouldn't be a burden on anyone if people live together with chores shared. women helping women always results in winning 🫶

PADUKONE is not just a surname but a brand. And DEEPIKA is the proud owner of it. Ofcourse any self made woman would want to pass on her surname. Men can debate, but it changes nothing 🔥

if you were ever made feel less because of your habits and choices, leave the place and the people immediately.
