I worked in 2 product based companies and 1 sevice based company so far. i was initially skeptical when I had to join a service based company after having worked in 2 product based companies. but my instincts were right. the decision I took an year back turned out to be the best of all the decisions I've taken so far. this is because I saw my last product based company run as old school and worse than a startup. and now I'm seeing this service based company run as a product based company with proper work life balance, latest tech stack, unlimited PTO and complete wfh 🙏🧿 God really saved me from the clutches of the worst management an year ago 🙏🙏

I was once made a class monitor for nursery children when I was in my 9th class since the teachers had a long running meeting with the principal. that was the sleeping period (nursery kids were made to sleep for 1hr post lunch) the teachers very well told me to separate boys and girls for their sleeping period. i laughed at it. I asked the teacher, why there was even a harm in it since they were so young. The teacher later told me something that's shocking. the boys when made to sleep beside the girls were lifting their frocks up, pulling down the underwear and trying to insert sharpeners and erasers. she told me not to underestimate the boys just because they were kids. that was the day I understood, some patterns are inherent, needn't be taught and can grow dangerous if not curbed at the right time. it's the sole responsibility of the parents and the teachers to correct the boys in their behaviours even if it requires a beat or a slap. they need to be strict with the kids right from the young age. don't ignore these patterns as a childish behaviour.
