Uhhhh...might want to reconsider "cusp." They have a bad team, a bottom-10 farm system, and a bottom-3 dev program. They do have a lot of money to fix these problems, but they aren't "cuspy" fixes.

The Angels are not bringing Kurt Suzuki back as manager. He had an option. He will be offered a position to stay in the organization as a special assistant.

If Mozeliak thinks Kurt should stay as manager, that should be a strike against his candidacy to remain as POBO/GM. Go big name hunting, Kevin Demoff. Go get the best of the best from LA, MIL, TB or CLE. Don’t settle. Be proactive.

News: John Mozeliak said he wants to retain Kurt Suzuki back as Angels manager. However, he said it’s not his decision. It’s up to the next ownership group. Mozeliak said he’s been coordinating with Kevin Demoff at KSE.

INVESTIGATION: Before Mark Walter sold the Lakers, he bought the Dodgers. Then came $350M via Magic Johnson — and hidden deals with each other. "Magic Johnson helped him out with the Dodgers deal," insider reveals. "They're trying to...put him on the map of being a billionaire."

The Dodgers' local-TV deal is a profound competitive advantage. Because of a bankruptcy-court ruling, the team will shield more than $1.3 billion from rev sharing over 25 years. What you might not know: They further monetized it through debt deals with Mark Walter-owned insurers.
