Just in terms of designing a more open ended Sonic experience, this is true. I need Frontiers 2 to take heavy inspiration from CD, thatβs literally the framework.
I love appealing UI and nice menu music but seriously do you guys buy consoles to play the games or look at the menus? If the only reasons you have for the Wii U being βobjectively betterβ are aspects that have nothing to do with the games or the hardware, then whatβs the point?
Thatβs not to say the Wii U doesnβt have a good game output but it didnβt last long enough to truly garner a vast library of great games. The games that did release were great, but they were not releasing at a quick enough rate + the Switch has basically all the good Wii U games.
