CB Ore Adeyi continues to put together impressive showings against NFL competition for No. 20 Northwestern. In games against Indiana and Rutgers, Adeyi helped shutdown Charlie Becker, Nick Marsh, and KJ Duff, allowing just three catches to the trio.

It's 4% of the season so like... 2/10? Idk, it's been bad but they showed sparks at the end of this game and Bam figured it out. We'll see.

Hitting legs at the gym is always a great time because I feel amazing during it. Then, I have to go up some stairs the next day and I regret everything

Houston Texans HC Demeco Ryans mentioned they saw a weakness in the Cowboys' FG protection and attacked it, resulting in a blocked FG and (a tipped FG). That weakness: pressure from the C/D gap on the overload side. Texans countered by putting Will Anderson there, who got free.

Dolphins defense continues to make legitimate strides, especially in the front 7. A lot to be encouraged there. As for the offense and special teams… we’ll see.

Dolphins special teams continue to be a major problem. It’s a little of everything right now and it’s continuing to hurt their already thin margins to win games.

On the first drive of the game, the Miami Dolphins got their first sack and first half punt of the season.

Athan Kaliakmanis to Treylon Burks for a 47-yard touchdown is something that normally happens in the third quarter of a preseason game, and not a regular season game

I'll admit: I was initially pretty put off by the fit of Joey Porter Jr to the #DallasCowboys However, there's so much that Porter can unlock for the Cowboys, and the ripple effect his presence will have on the defense is worth the cost. I'm in: cover4quarters.substack.com/…

Please just go watch xps and field goals. The wing hardly ever gets a hand on the outer most rusher on the overload side.

Sam Roush got benched on FG protection with Joe Thuney and for good reason. He needed a reset.

Film review matters on special teams, too! In week 1 (and the preseason), Bears rookie TE Sam Roush was slow out of his stance on FGs -- something the Panthers attacked with an overload. The Minnesota Vikings did the same on Sunday, leading to a blocked FG to win the game.

I met Michelle briefly during the Final Four while I was a still a student-journalist covering FAU. She didn't know me, but I had always appreciated her work. She treated me like a pro she knew for years. Michelle is an absolute legend.
