Just to be clear, two men now control Reform UK. One who lives in Thailand, one who until a split second ago lived in Hong Kong. These aren’t your friends, neighbours and work colleagues.

The work you do is extraordinary, and you absolutely do not deserve the hostility some are throwing your way. Volunteering to save lives is one of the most selfless and noble things anyone can do. Thank you for being there when it matters most.

Doesn't surprise me to find that luvvies & fellow journalists are circling their wagons around #JeremyVine regarding the Carers UK tone deaf choice as him as a presenter for their awards. Overtalking disabled & carers voices & in the case of Narinder Kaur, othering us.

Disabled people are currently the softest target in British politics: no lobby, no union, no headlines when we lose. So the press manufactures the scrounger myth, ministers repeat it on cue, and the benefits keeping us alive get stripped, all while the public cheers the cuts.

End Disability Hate Petition I’ve done it. I’ve launched a petition calling for a **National Disability Hate Strategy for the UK**. And I want to explain why. Because I am sick and tired of disabled people being treated as acceptable targets. Over the last few years, I have watched the language around disability get uglier and uglier. Scrounger. Fraudster. Fake. Workshy. A burden on the taxpayer. We see people being questioned because they can stand up from a wheelchair. Challenged because they use a Blue Badge but don't "look disabled". Judged because they have a Motability car. Accused of faking because their disability fluctuates. And disabled people are increasingly expected to prove themselves to complete strangers. I've experienced disability abuse myself. But through this platform, I've also heard from so many of you who have experienced it. And then there's the way disability is discussed publicly. We've seen headlines portraying disabled people and benefit claimants as a problem to be solved. We've seen endless conversations about who's *really* disabled, who's *disabled enough*, and who deserves support. We've even reached the point where politicians are publicly talking about distinguishing between people with "severe" disabilities and everybody else. Words matter. Because disability hate doesn't suddenly begin when somebody commits a hate crime. It starts with stigma. It starts with suspicion. It starts with misinformation. It starts when society is repeatedly told that disabled people are costing too much, claiming too much or somehow getting something everybody else is paying for. And eventually somebody thinks it's acceptable to challenge that wheelchair user. To abuse that Blue Badge holder. To film somebody getting out of their Motability car. To call somebody a benefit scrounger. Or to send abuse to a disabled person online. So I'm asking the Government to develop and fund a **National Disability Hate Strategy**, co-produced with Disabled People's Organisations. Not another conversation *about* us. Something created **with us**. Something that looks at prevention, education, policing, online abuse and support for people who experience disability hate. Because disabled people should not have to prove their disability to strangers. We shouldn't be frightened of using the support we're entitled to. And we shouldn't have to accept abuse as simply part of being disabled. The petition is now live. petition.parliament.uk/petit… Please sign it. Please share it. And if you've experienced disability hate yourself, tell people why you're signing. Because the more of us who speak up, the harder we are to ignore. **Disabled people are not targets. And disability hate should never be normal.** @paulapeters2 @relish_hendy @1kilroywashere @TheMeldrew @hewitson10 @RachelCDailey_ @TheCanaryUK @mssocietyuk @GMCDP @InclusionLondon

I have swallowed my pride, pushed my shame and embarrassment aside and decided I need to ask for help in replacing my failing #wheelchair. Being #disabled is awfully expensive and I simply cannot afford the new one by myself. I've sourced the best deal I can which has a free pair of extra wheels and a free Freewheel device. If anyone can help, even with a like or share, I'd be beyond grateful. Thank you for reading! gofund.me/f565e055a

When I call TERFs anti-trans obsessed, this is what I mean. Their obsession is deeply concerning.
A friend of mine works in the civil service. Her boss wouldn’t give her time off to have her scheduled mammogram - so she had to rearrange. The first available appointment was a few months down the line. She did have breast cancer - and then got questioned about how much time she was taking off for essential treatment. Now imagine how she might have been treated if she was having ‘gender reassignment’ 🙄

Single occupancy toilets are great. Want to change a colostomy bag? Go for it. Bowel trouble? No one to care. Shy bladder? No longer an issue! I really hope they become the norm - got them at work (before I got worse), before Lady Moldemort. They're just better for everyone.

Hi @robpowellnews @SkyNews Can you please stop saying that Labour failed to cut welfare last year. They cut disbality benefits by 50% and froze them from rising with inflation for four years. Thanks.

Homosexuality is found across nature. Homophobia is uniquely human. According to Christians, Satan's influence is also uniquely human 🤔 Then again, it's all based on a book translated, modified, and censored for centuries. 🤷‍♂️

Kids know they’re trans just like kids know they’re gay. There are many thousands of adults who took puberty blockers as part of their transition journeys - they’re the ones you’re less likely to clock. Depriving trans kids of that is the work of ideological savages.

Fascism does not arrive saying “I am fascism.” It arrives saying “law and order,” “border security,” “anti-woke,” “election integrity,” and “national emergency.”

These aren't protests. They're racist riots. And it's time for the government to take them seriously. The PM should be convening COBRA and setting out a real plan to end this horrific violence and bring communities together. Now is a time for real leadership.
