🤷🏿♂️ Jordan vs LeBron vs Kobe:
When evaluating individual greatness, we look at peak statistical seasons to see what a player can do when forced to shoulder the ultimate burden. The most telling metric of a superstar's value is how many wins they can produce by themselves before you surround them with an elite supporting cast or a 'superteam.' By looking at the peak individual seasons of Jordan, Bryant, and James, it is clear that LeBron’s style of play translates to a significantly higher winning floor
In 1986–87, Michael Jordan had his statistically greatest season, averaging a staggering 37.1 points per game. In 2005–06, Kobe Bryant had his, averaging 35.4 points, including his 81-point game. Yet, Jordan’s Bulls finished below .500 at 40–42, and Kobe’s Lakers finished 45–37. This is not a knock on their talent, they were playing at their absolute highest individual limit. However, it proves that extreme, hyper-efficient volume scoring alone cannot elevate a mediocre roster to elite status. They still needed an All-Star framework (like Scottie Pippen or Pau Gasol) to achieve elite team success.
LeBron’s All-Around Dominance Translates to Wins "Contrast that with LeBron James in 2008–09 during his first stint in Cleveland. To completely eliminate any 'superteam' arguments, we look at a roster where his next best players were Mo Williams and Delonte West. LeBron didn't match their 35+ scoring averages, but he put up 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.2 assists while anchoring an elite defense. Because LeBron impacts every single facet of the game..playmaking, rebounding, and defensive versatilely..his peak individual performance directly engineered a 66–16 record and the #1 seed in the NBA. He raised the floor of a lottery-level roster higher than any other player in history.
You cannot ask Kobe Bryant to play better than he did in 2006, and you cannot ask Michael Jordan to score more than he did in 1987. Those were their absolute peaks, yet their teams hovered around mediocrity.
LeBron James at his individual peak didn't just put up historic numbers, he transformed a mediocre roster into a 66-win powerhouse through pure, all-around utility. If the definition of the 'better player' is the one who most powerfully drives winning on his own, LeBron's peak dominance stands above the rest.
I don't think Yax is going to hold Luka to 15 points or some shit tonight. Luka gonna get his 30. I just hope our guy cooks their ass too.

“Yaxel is 24 so his stats don’t matter”
He was in the same high school class as…
2-Year Pro Caleb Love
3-Year Pro Zach Edey
4-Year Pro Julian Strawther
5-Year Pro Cameron Thomas
6-Year Pros Cade, Moody, Barnes, Suggs, Mobley, Green, and Kuminga but…
Yaxel is tied for 1st in PPG with Cade and 2nd in RPG behind Mobley.
Yax would be out there even if he had a choice. The brotha makes others around him better. Guys are ready to catch and shoot when he has the ball. They're engaged.
There is reportedly growing frustration in the Suns locker room due to lack of a true point guard on the roster, per @ChrisBHaynes
Well that settles that.
No, NBA coaches aren't conspiring against your alt overs parlays.
Charles Lee is one of the good ones and he's building a winning culture. No effort, no intentionality? No playing time. This is Spo with Kel'el Ware all over again.

Cade Cunningham? Paolo vs Cade were 2 Bron variants going at each other
You cannot compare Yaxel to former warriors players. Yax is a connector. He is equally as invested in getting his shot as finding open teammates. His mistakes, while costly, come with huge upside. You take him out of the lineup and everything becomes harder on offense.
