Even though change is often required to improve upon old formulas, it does make me rather sad to see that #silenthill is being treated as "just a vibe" and not much else at the moment. Both f and now Townfall made me ask: "Not a bad game, but why is this called Silent Hill?"

All you ever hear is that X game had a disappointing launch and sold poorly, thus justifying eventual layoffs. But then you check and see that it sold millions. Like, how much is enough, anymore? Why does every game have to exceed the break-even point an infinite number of times?

You look to the right - Sony be sacrificing it all to appease the Gods of Avarice. You look to the left - Microsoft be gutting id Software, despite their talent, their successes, just to save a quick buck. Man, this truly is the Dark Age of gaming.

Well, The Boys has ended - and oh dear, what a disappointing finale it was after all this time. My expectations were low and sadly got met, which is such a shame. I wonder why shows these days cannot have good/consistent writing anymore.
