In a week that sort the closing of the Ballards in Indy, I wanted to don my very own Irsay-Gordon headset and do some digging around the GMs of the league.
Which are safe as houses? Which are crumbling like high rises?

It was indeed a day. Auburn your defense leaks like a sieve but your hospitality is second to none. Thank you 🙏

Fair play to Auburn fans who have stayed in their droves until the 4th Quarter. No doubt Golesh will be telling his players to give the fans something to shout about. Auburn have been unable to stop LSU all day. #wareagle #GeauxTigers – at Auburn, AL

I know it's a terrible video but a flyover is a flyover. I have said it before and will say it again, European events are poorer for a lack of flyovers....#wareagle – at Auburn, AL

At the point Leavitt scores the TD to make the game 31-10 (with the extra point), the San Francisco 49ers scouts get up and leave. Note: NY Giants scout is still here.

Never gets old seeing our Outlet's name in an SEC press box. Give @geosomerville a follow as he covers the Tiger derby from Auburn, Alabama today!
Howdy from the Plains on a bright & crisp Auburn, AL morning where I (George) will be taking in the LSU Tigers visiting the Auburn Tigers for what turns out to be a very important SEC conference game. Follow along for updates…… #wareagle

“Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!”
Last week was surely a sore one for Notre Dame, but on reflection, as they assess the remainder of the season for the 6-1 #4 Irish, perhaps it’s time to channel their inner Bluto?
Notre Dame enter their bye week at 6-1 after a heartbreaking defeat to BYU.
With five regular season games remaining, where do the Irish stand, and can they still make a playoff run?

In case anyone hasn’t seen the abundance of social media posts over the last 24hrs I have started a week long tour of SEC country. First up LSU @ Auburn. So this weeks “It’s Only SEC” is a little skewed towards my hosts, the Auburn Tigers 🐅 #wareagle

BYU move to #2, we've got WVU taking the conference's disdain for defense to a new level entirely, some coaches on the hotseat, a huge game in Salt Lake City, and the future of the title game on the line.
The Big 12 is the most entertaining conference in college football. Fact.

Not even 3hrs in the beautiful town of Auburn, AL…
- praised a guy in the lift wearing an Alabama shirt for his bravery 🙏
-“do you have an accent? Oh you do have an accent!”
- toddler in stroller screams “war eagle” as I pass by..
- did not anticipate outdoor student bingo
- Tiger fans mingling with Tiger fans…has the potential to become confusing.
- Auburn is jumping & it’s still only Thursday

A long overdue trip to the South & where better to start than at the epicentre of the SEC, the mothership at Richard Arrington Blvd in Birmingham AL

The first FBS head coach of the season to lose their job, Locksley spent eight years at Maryland.
A program with ambition and resources but never really managed to challenge the status quo in the Big Ten; it will be interesting to see the direction the Terps go from here.
