Usually price hike news is accompanied by some fun parks news to distract us from the price hikes, so hopefully we get some of that soon 🤞😅
NEW: Walt Disney World is increasing prices on some single-day tickets and all Annual Passes, while multiday ticket prices and some Lightning Lane prices remain unchanged, all effective today. Here’s a look at the pre-tax changes:
The lowest-priced 1-day ticket remains $119. The peak 1-day ticket for holiday dates in Nov.-Dec. 2027 is now $229. That price currently applies only to Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, up from the current maximum 1-day ticket price of $219. Multiday ticket prices at Walt Disney World are not increasing.
Annual Pass prices are increasing by $10-$120 depending on the pass type:
Pixie Dust: $499 (was $489)
Pirate: $909 (was $869)
Sorcerer: $1,139 (was $1,099)
Incredi-Pass: $1,749 (was $1,629)
Parking prices and Lightning Lane Multi Pass pricing are unchanged. Single Pass ceilings are increasing by $1-$3 depending on the attraction and date, while Premiere Pass ceilings are increasing by $50 on the highest-demand days across all four parks.
Disney CFO Hugh Johnston said at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference on Sept. 9 that the company is “super sensitive” to keeping ticket prices relatively low during value periods “so that we can actually encourage those young families to come in.”

Really dislike the culture behind buying Disney t-shirts at the parks or World of Disney and then marking it up 50% to resell and not budging on the price
Sad to think, but maybe the Muppet Show will just be an annual/semiannual thing instead of a full season?
Can you imagine a long dark ride in Hollywood Studios full of animatronic Muppets that are the same quality as Scooter? I’m not sure how long it took Disney to do this, or how expensive this Muppet style is, but it would be sooooo good
