TRUMP on HIGH GAS PRICES: We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.

Bob Costas was 18 when his father dropped dead at JFK airport. At the wake, a man handed him a thick envelope with $6,000 in $100 bills. It was everything his father left behind, and a bookie would never have paid it to a dead man. In the video below, he tells the story himself. His father, John, was a big-time gambler. Not casinos, not racetracks. Ball games. Bob says the mortgage was literally riding on his bets. When the games went the wrong way, he threw things, cursed and yelled. Bob’s mom and sister would leave. Bob stayed, because watching the games with his dad was the only way to be close to him. Friday, May 15, 1970. A cop knocks on the door. Before he says a word, Bob’s mother asks, “My husband’s dead, isn’t he?” John Costas had a heart attack walking through JFK. He was 42. At the wake, one of his gambling buddies walked in with the envelope. “Your father was up when he died. Give this to your mother.” A bookie never pays a dead man, so the friend went to the bookie himself and said John sent him to collect. Decades later, Bob Costas refused to read sports betting ads on air. Today the bookie lives in everyone’s phone. Is that progress?

This is a must-watch to the end. There is so much to unpack here, and this Black man does an exceptional job unpacking it himself while giving Bradenton police a lesson on his rights. On February 8, 2026, he was stopped while riding his bicycle at night in Bradenton, Florida. But the conversation raises an issue far bigger than this one encounter. Walking while Black. Driving while Black. Riding a bike while Black. Our freedom to move through our communities should not depend on whether an officer thinks we belong. When one officer tells him that obeying the law means he won’t have to worry about being pulled over, his response is direct: “I have to stop being Black to stop being pulled over by you.” The answer to concerns about racial profiling cannot simply be “obey the law.” All too often, we know this playbook: Black people treated as suspicious while going about their daily lives. This is not a new concern. It is a documented pattern. Knowing your rights is important. Officers respecting those rights is essential. Toward the end, he explains that he was simply trying to get home with groceries for his mother, who has diabetes, to help care for her. Public safety should protect that ordinary freedom, not make it something Black people have to defend. 🎥: @iamtaylindsey | Florida Cop Cam

BREAKING: Stephen Miller and Jared Kushner are reportedly blaming each other for the GOP's midterm meltdown, with Miller calling the Iran War "Jared's folly," and Kushner pointing out that Republicans were gaining Hispanic voters until Miller turned ICE into a "US Gestapo."

SPOTTED: Ilhan Omar's oldest daughter Isra Hirsi was seen pulling into the driveway of Omar's D.C. home Saturday night — nearly one week after Homeland Security Investigations raided the residence as part of an immigration fraud probe. Two days later, Omar's second daughter was seen arriving at the home along with a woman who appeared to be the young teenager's caretaker. Omar has not been seen in public since the raid. Her husband Tim Mynett has appeared multiple times to walk the family dog, telling reporters they're "annoying the hell out of the neighbors." Full story here foxnews.com/politics/ilhan-o…

"Fauci was right, everyone needs to get vaccinated" -RFK Jr., I guess
Reporter: Has the war had an impact on your campaign at this point? Staffer: We’re not going to talk about that. Reporter: Mr. Secretary, do you believe that five deaths, potentially six, from measles in the state of Pennsylvania— Staffer: We’re also not going to talk about measles. Reporter: He’s the highest ranking health official in the country. He can answer that question. He’s a Cabinet secretary. RFK JR: The measles outbreak is occurring because so many people went unvaccinated during the COVID pandemic. And this is something that Anthony Fauci, in fact, predicted

This is the problem with the One Piece fanbase. They have a reading comprehension issue. Loki's father was literally turned into a God's Knight, Loki is the one that killed him 14 years ago. Harald's death had some significant impact on Imu where he revealed there was a consequence for him performing the covenants. Imu directly wanted to know the cause, but dare not risk the death of more God's Knights then. Rocks was a central part of the entire build up, from the day he and Harald met at marijoa, the day Rocks encountered Imu in the flower room, Harald wondering why he got such a response, Jarul telling him about the legendary giant shipbuilsers, the gallela giants, same giants rocks said were essential to his plan. He also tells this to Loki, all of it built up to God Valley, which provided important background info on Roger, Garp, Dragon, Shanks etc. Who else were present on God Valley and also responsible in Rocks' death? The God's Knights, and specifically Garling. Shuri is quite obviously extremely important for reasons tied to Imu, and there is a theme emerging. Imu is the connection between all these major players and events on Elbaph, and now we hear Lily is involved and left something on Elbaph. Come on now. Who has Imu been obsessing over this whole time? The entirety of this arc is about unraveling a lot of the mystery behind Imu to better make him known to us while also providing the key players some of their final stage big upgrades now that we are in the final stretch, and it's a prep session before we learn the truth od the void century. Oda introduced a necessity that would force Sanji and Zoro to come to grips with their true strength, but Oda is also using this arc to expand more on the Sun God Nika and the mystery around Luffy's devil fruit, and he's also using the arc to further explore Conqueror's Haki. And so many smaller things from Chopper's major role and capabilities to easily dispel Domi Reversi (meaning there is something special about him). How is this so damn difficult to grasp? Franky got an upgrade, Usopp's Observation Haki is developing and coming into its own. Brook's backstory is important and is also a setup significant developments for him also. Why is this so complicated for the One Piece audience to grasp? They're really crashing out because they see Sanji getting an upgrade they feel should be exclusively for Zoro alone. That's the real reason behind all the bitching going on.
