Binance is larping the use of SAFU with its SAFU fund at 2.5M+ to protect users when a single laptop result in 6B being stolen. There are tons of risks and no guarantees with complex new technologies. But beta means very high confidence on safety. So state/funds should be safu. Liveness failure is functionally the same as block times spiking to 17 hours. Definitely disruptive.
