As a British Army veteran who served in Northern Ireland, I find this deeply concerning.
You promise to end ALL prosecutions of service personnel and veterans within 100 days.
On what legal authority?
What happens to independent prosecutors, judicial oversight, victims' rights and the rule of law?
Are you proposing that military service places someone above criminal accountability?
Veterans deserve protection from injustice, proper legal representation and fair treatment.
They do NOT need politicians promising immunity from scrutiny.
And you cannot simply declare a prosecution “unjust” because the accused wore a uniform.
Our oath was to serve our country, not place ourselves above its laws.
@AngusReform, explain the legal mechanism, not the slogan.
In Reform UK's first 100 days @AngusReform will end the unjust prosecutions of our veterans.
If he fails. He will resign.

Many of the defendants I prosecute and defend who are on bail awaiting sentence and likely to face prison are rapists and serious sex offenders.
@RishiSunak and his colleagues are preventing the criminal justice system from imprisoning rapists.
Let that sink in.
