After over a decade on unattended windows installs I am now spending surprisingly amount of time doing the same thing with Linux. Some things don’t change it seems even if the OS is perhaps the smallest diff. Can’t help but noting a big thanks to @jarwidmark & @AndreasStenhall

I know Bill Maher is not a lot of people's favorites. But here he is making sense once again. Israel is not going anywhere.

Thing I am missing in the discussions around #AI and #LLM is probably nuance or humility. As often people are in two camps, awesome vs doom. If the vibe coders could let go of the coffee and cotton candy a little and the dooms

people just drink some water, everyone get some sunlight and their feet on some grass (sorry northern hemisphere) and then we just as an industry say let’s see where this is going. Doing anything to an extreme is usually bad. Only vibe/AI coders nor getting stuck doing

I hate browsing web pages. The fact that AI can do this for me have completely eliminated the use of the browser for me. Browsing a page is easily ten clicks just to handle cookies, then there are popups about newsletters, ads etc.

Been on vacation for two weeks. Now spending the first cup of coffee on 'sudo snap refresh && sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y && brew update && brew upgrade' per wsl and then some 'winget upgrade -r'... is this the new normal?

Looking up what kind of airplane I will have on the two upcoming flights. First leg is an A20N… notice the registration number. Checking the second leg.. isn’t that the same registration number? Yes it is.. and I’ll have the very same seat on both legs. Still nice w/the break :)

Got a surprise today that the upgrade of EF 8 -> EF 9 actually had some breaking changes in it, not just .NET 9 compatibility. gist.github.com/TimNilimaa/2… on something as simple as where query. @dotnet
