I asked Jeff Traylor for his reaction to James Madison joining the American Conference: "What a great add. That place has been great for a long time. They're very committed to being excellent. They'll make all of us better. It's a perfect fit. Tim Pernetti does a fantastic job- his vision, his execution. "Billy Napier is a dear friend, does a great job coaching. But those guys have taken care of those coaches in that place for a long time. Those kids get what they need to be successful. The program gets what it needs to be successful. So the more of those people you put in our league, the more it challenges people to rise up to the commitment level that James Madison has."

"I want to play the best of the best". Coach @ZKittley weighs in on the addition of James madison to the @American_Conf with our @RLastellaReport while also offering praise to league leader @Tim_Pernetti #FAU 🦉🏈

I spent Saturday at the United States Naval Academy and it was the greatest football experience of my life! My first time at Navy did not disappoint and my full video documenting the day is live NOW!! Watch it here: youtu.be/2D03Jc1DxH8?si=9nMB…

An exciting & historic next step in the RISE of @JMU and @JMUSports. Appreciate the alignment we have here that makes opportunities like this possible. Takes ALL of us all the time. Always onward and upward for the Dukes! #GoDukes

Today is a significant day in JMU’s history. James Madison University is joining the @American_Conf. I am grateful to Commissioner Tim Pernetti and the conferences' presidents and chancellors for their confidence in JMU.
