Prediction markets and micropayments are two of the best uses of blockchains and AI agents I can think of. Agent pays a few cents for data -> use it to price a risk and take a position -> someone else earns by supplying evidence or catching a bad resolution == put the collateral and payout rules on shared infrastructure so they don’t all have to trust whoever runs it. *The blockchain doesn’t tell you what’s true. You still need credible evidence and judging. But it can make the commitments enforceable and the payments practical. A question might only be worth answering for 10 cents. That’s probably not worth your morning, but honeybadger agent don't care. There’s a whole economy to explore there that doesn’t depend on bagholding-memetard-degens trenching up another coin

I shouldn’t have to be bullish on your token to use your market. If I’m hedging a spike in gas prices, I don’t also want to bet on whether your coin holds its value. Use the token to reward useful work and secure the network, but keep it separate from the collateral backing my payout please. Good infrastructure should be useful to people who don’t even care about its token

I keep thinking about a market that exists for mere minutes inside a much bigger task. An agent needs information before making a decision. It offers a reward, other people or agents compete to provide it, and there’s a process for checking the result before anyone gets paid. Nobody needs to open a trading app or stare at a chart. The market is just helping get something done. I think we’re aiming way too low if the ambition is another place to bet
I’m incredibly bullish on Hyperliquid, Elysium, and honestly any serious project choosing to build on top of that ecosystem. The infra, liquidity, and distribution are all moving in the right direction. Long-term kinetiq:native holder speaking here. I think a lot of people still underestimate how much value will accrue to the projects that position themselves early around Hyperliquid.

Const and buddies have their agents scan subnets for mining opportunities and got tired of having to send $TAO to individual anon wallets so they enable PoW. Some of his buddies got tired of validators so they remove the Yuma Consensus for subnets that this applies making buddies happy Everything is decided by vibe coding trash festures on top of a pile of trash and years later it will be a house of cards like it already is Don't get me wrong I love Bittensor and I even made money from it but at some point it is too obvious that this is a big ponzi scheme for high IQ people Nothing of this makes a 1000 year federation
Bittensor recently released Null Consensus, a major protocol update expanding subnet capacity from 256 to 2,500 participants. It introduces a new way to determine miner rewards, giving subnet owners an alternative to Yuma Consensus.

“Null Consensus” is at least honest branding hah. Subnets that opt in get up to 2.5k participants, but one top-staked validator sets miner rewards. The other stakers still collect dividends = more people doing the work…one validator deciding what it’s worth? Of course that scales. You removed the disagreement… It’s exactly the direction we don’t want prediction markets going [prediction markets 🔥 > ai]. Pay people to investigate, challenge bad calls and establish what actually happened. Make the judging accountable, not just the participants. Real, accurate resolution fine tuned by incentive to the participants. A bigger competition doesn’t fix having to trust the referee by the way. At least he can single-handedly add another layer of complexity to his network quick-as-can-be as soon as this “upgrade” flounders. Stinky 🧅 Re $tao dead 🧟‍♂️

BREAKING: Russia has just struck the CHP-5 power plant in Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest combined heat and power plant, breaking the US energy ceasefire just hours after Trump announced it. Zelensky confirms the strike, saying "Just now there was a strike on CHP-5 in the city of Kharkiv." Trump announced today "Effective immediately, there is an ENERGY CEASEFIRE in the War between Russia and Ukraine. Both parties have agreed. Do not break it!"

Sounds like a real cluster f*ck of a market resolution @Polymarket 😬
BREAKING: Ukraine’s President Zelensky says the energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia announced by President Trump just minutes ago “is news to me,” per Axios. “If President Trump negotiated it with Putin, please tell us when the ceasefire begins,” Zelensky said.

$TAO looks solid. Range low sweep ✅ W formation ✅ Liquidity grabbed ✅ Confirmed reclaim ✅ PO3 if you’re nasty ✅ I did the analysis ✅

You can feel it in the culture, people just want to make markets. On whatever. On everything. No need to build a whole exchange or convince a listing team that your idea is worth their time. Make it easy as can be. That’s why $hype > Polymarket. There is mad room for that same freedom in prediction markets right now. Know something niche better than the big platforms do? Build around it. Pick the questions and timeframes, run your own venue, and use shared infrastructure for collateral, settlement and disputes instead of spending all your time constructing the innards. Obviously the terms need to be clear, the payouts backed and the outcomes open to challenge. But nobody should have to prove their question has mass appeal before they can try. Maybe only 69 people care about that market. It might matter a whole lot to those 69 though…let the people who care, care
Last weekend’s revenue: Polymarket: $9.9m Hyperliquid: $2.64m $HYPE is an $86 billion token 🧐
