Tricia is a great choice for this role. NTIA is in excellent hands with Arielle and Tricia in leadership!
Thrilled to announce @PDASPaoletta as our new Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary @NTIAgov. Tricia’s deep expertise & strong leadership will be critical as we advance 🇺🇸’s spectrum & communications priorities. We are fortunate to have her in this role! ntia.gov/press-release/2026/…

Hilarious. This guy combed through thousands of pages of internal docs to try to run a hit piece on @BrendanCarrFCC and couldn't even get Obama's FCC Chair to find anything wrong with them.
New: Brendan Carr has said that he won't talk about his discussions with the White House.... But, I was able to review thousands of pages of internal FCC emails and calendar logs (obtained via a FOIA lawsuit) that provide more of a public understanding of this relationship, showing regular meetings and conversations with administration officials, including two phone calls last winter with chief of staff Susie Wiles. The Microsoft Outlook calendar items also show meetings with right-leaning media executives like Lachlan Murdoch and David Smith, and sit-downs with MAGA figures like Matt Gaetz. theguardian.com/media/ng-int…

Great choice of my former law school classmate Lee Rudofsky for the Eighth Circuit! He has been a passionate defender of the Constitution from Day One.
Another *yuge* nomination coming from President Trump. Judge Lee Rudofsky will immediately give the excellent Judges Justin Smith and Traynor runs for their money as the best new Eighth Circuit judge. As an Eighth Circuit practitioner, I could not be more excited.

Great choice by @realDonaldTrump of @DanielleThumann to be an @FCC Commissioner! Danielle is a telecom policy aficionado who has done incredible work executing on @BrendanCarrFCC’s Build America Agenda. The Senate should confirm her without delay!

I join @BrendanCarrFCC in congratulating Adam Candeub on his nomination to lead DOJ Antitrust. Adam has been a fantastic General Counsel at the @FCC and will be a true America First antitrust enforcer at DOJ. Great choice by @realDonaldTrump!

With thanks to the incredible archivists at @NixonLibrary, I'm enjoying the audio of the live White House performance of the musical 1776 as we head to America's 250th birthday. Here is the inimitable @MrBillDaniels as John Adams entertaining the crowd in DC with my favorite lines from the production. Cc @nixonfoundation #America250

Proud to represent @CTIA in this case and advocate for a strong federal preemption framework for interstate services like broadband.
Some states have sought to regulate economic activities that are inherently national in nature and traditionally regulated at the federal level. Yesterday, @CTIA submitted an amicus brief to #SCOTUS arguing that "preemption should be 'presumed' in such 'primarily . . . federal' areas." You can read our brief here: supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/2…

So often PE firms buy a “brand” restaurant and then hollow out the soul of the place. This effort from Daland Corp shows that investment in the culture and quality that made a place memorable is also profitable. Build it and they will come. xitter.cf/MattBraynard/status/20…

Proud to have argued and prevailed in the Fourth Circuit on this challenge to Maryland’s protectionist, environmental speech code. The court correctly concluded a law that allowed you to trumpet the benefits of energy sourced from Chicago or Baltimore—but not Texas or North Dakota—could not survive even intermediate scrutiny for commercial speech. #appellatetwitter

Adam would be an inspired choice for this role. Adam was in the trenches during the first Trump admin with me defending the FCC’s authority over section 230 reform to rein in Big Tech. He would be a true America First populist antitrust enforcer.
The race to lead the DOJ’s Antitrust Division is heating up. The Capitol Forum’s latest scoop examines the emergence of FCC General Counsel Adam Candeub as a leading candidate for the role. Read more: thecapitolforum.com/editors-…
