Tengo mucha admiración por esas personas en España que rinden homenaje a MariCarmen. Todos merecen una vivienda digna. @rtve

Great that @manairport T2 staff are hot on security, but a tad OTT maybe? Never has my white cane attracted so much interest from so many people! But overall, staff are much more helpful and it’s much more organised than it used to be.

The service at @asda Sefton Park is appalling; not enough staff etc. A situation mirrored by the ASDA pharmacy … in my experience, they’re either closed or don’t always have the required medication in stock. Even more shocking, it takes 72 hours to process repeat prescriptions.

Apparently they’re busy. There are some places where you just know you aren’t a customer. @asda Sefton Park pharmacy.

It must be my ‘lucky’ day. For the second time today, I have nearly been wiped out by a brainless E – scooter Rider, this time on Breck Road in Anfield, I advised the ‘gentleman’ that Breck Road was a much better option for him than the pavement.
Just another day on #Liverpool’s pavements. I’ve just come close to being wiped out by a brainless E-scooter rider on the corner of Hardman & Rodney Street. He came round the corner, on the pavement of course, without even slowing down. Is anyone enforcing the rules in this city?

According to a member of @merseyrail staff, train services have been suspended because there’s one trespasser on the line. Both Northern and Wirral lines are affected. It just shows how vulnerable #Liverpool’s critical infrastructure is.

I should of course have said Merseyside’s critical infrastructure because this disruption is not just affecting Liverpool.

Just had the misfortune to visit Stockport on a day when an event is taking place in the centre, which hasn’t given any consideration for Disability access. My Visually impaired friend and I had to go on a fairly big diversion and very nearly got lost. Very poor. @StockportMBC

In my latest That’ll be the Day podcast, I talk to the visually impaired environmental campaigner, Jane Touil, about her life and what she describes as climate breakdown. Jane has strong views for which she has spent some time in prison. youtu.be/YjrDuT-UIjg?is=DlHq…

I’ve just completed a project at @WSBPS with a group of visually impaired young people who’ve produced a podcast looking at the accessibility of gaming and the overlap with music. The group only had 4 two-hour sessions, so I think they’ve done rather well. youtu.be/ii3-e6dQpiw?is=APVX…

Interesting to hear @BBCr4today discussing e-bikes. In Liverpool, for visually impaired person like me, people riding e-bikes & e-scooters on pavements & in other pedestrian areas, causes a lot of anxiety. The question is, who are pavements etc for? Pedestrians or a free for all?
