What is Ollie Pearce’s ceiling… Yesterday was another outstanding display, with Pearce showcasing yet another level to his game Two excellent goals, with the second going far beyond just a good finish. Today in Arsenal vs Hull, VAR recommended the referee to check this shirt pull on Havertz for a penalty, a foul that happened to Isak last week and VAR chose to ignore. However, with this week and the foul being on Arsenal, VAR decided it was necessary to intervene... VAR were so desperate to get Arsenal a penalty, they never even bothered to check if Havertz was onside, he wasn't and luckily the refree on the field noticed and didn't give the penalty... How on earth is VAR getting involved to give offside players penalties 😭
