Americans have never been this pessimistic about their finances:
A record 41% of US consumers expect their financial situation to be worse over the next 12 months.
This figure has more than tripled since Q2 2024.
By comparison, during the 2008 Financial Crisis, this metric peaked at 23%.
This proportion is also significantly higher than in the 1970s and the 1980s, when CPI inflation was above 10%.
Furthermore, 31% of US consumers believe their personal financial situation will be worse in 5 years, double the proportion seen in the 1980s.
Americans feel as though we are in a recession.

🚨 WARNING: THE NEXT BITCOIN DUMP WILL BE BRUTAL
3 weeks ago, I told you Bitcoin would crash to $77K.
Today, everything is playing out exactly as I predicted:
$77K → $74K → $70K → $68K → $65K
Save this chart and don't become exit liquidity.
Keep in mind:
I publicly called Bitcoin’s $17K bottom in 2022 and $126K top in 2025.
Then I called the $58K local bottom in 2026.

they’re calling it “the AI bubble” and i don’t think people realize how serious this is
in the last 4 months there has been a 40% crash in China’s AI-heavy STAR50 index. about $480 billion in market value gone. not in a decade. not in a year. in less than 4 months
any ONE of these would normally be the biggest story of the year
Unitree: robot maker. retail buyers oversubscribed its listing 8,000 times. shares halved since it started trading in August
MetaX and Moore Threads: chipmakers that jumped 700% and 400% on their debut day last year. both halved since July
CXMT: chipmaker. lost more than a quarter of its value in the past month
Innolight and Eoptolink: optical parts makers. down about 60% from their June and July highs. Washington is moving to ban them from supplying US data centers
CSI 300: China’s blue chips. down about 20% from their June highs
Nasdaq: 6% off the record it hit three weeks ago. US AI stocks led the drop
Neoclouds: Elon Musk says debt markets have “almost entirely shut off” money for firms living off AI data centers. of the 200+ neoclouds, “not many” make it through
and that’s not even the whole list
AI stocks are 42% of China’s market value and 57% of its trading, per Goldman Sachs. a market of small investors. few escaped the pain
investors are saying it could get worse before it gets better. a New York Times opinion piece warns there is more US money in AI-heavy stocks than in homes, and a crash could destroy more wealth than 2008 did
if you own a tech fund, AI stocks, or anything tied to data centers you are potentially affected
after the crash the STAR50 still trades near 100 times earnings. the Nasdaq 100 trades at 30
follow me. i’m tracking whether the Nasdaq’s 6% dip turns into China’s 40% crash

🚨 Massive CRASH in AI Stocks in the Last 48 Hours
$INTC: -32.9%
$GOOGL: -14.5%
$AMZN: -10%
$SNDK: -15.8%
This comes after disappointing earnings from major tech companies raised fresh concerns about AI spending and future growth.
Intel: Its Q4 revenue guidance came in roughly $1.1 billion below investor expectations, triggering a massive selloff.
$150 BILLION of its market cap has been wiped out, its largest single day decline in over 40 years.
Google: Reported 25% yearly revenue growth, but its free cash flow turned negative by $9.1 billion against expectations of a breakeven.
Nearly $500 BILLION was wiped out from its market value in a single day, one of its biggest one day declines in history.
Amazon: AWS revenue grew 39%, its fastest growth in nearly 5 years. But the company plans to spend $220 billion in capital expenditure this year, largely on AI infrastructure, with even higher spending expected in 2027.
Its annual free cash flow swung from positive $14.8 billion to negative $42.4 billion in just 12 months causing more pressure.
SanDisk: Even after beating earnings expectations with 378% yearly revenue growth, investors remained cautious as its quarterly revenue growth slowed from 51% to 23%.
Investors are increasingly worried that Big Tech is spending hundreds of billions on AI infrastructure without generating enough cash to justify it.
These concerns are now spreading across the semiconductor sector.

🚨 THE NEXT STOCK MARKET CRASH COULD MAKE 2000 LOOK LIKE A WARNING SHOT.
And I believe most investors are completely unprepared for what's coming.
Look at this chart.
1929: The Great Depression.
1972: The Nifty Fifty bubble.
2000: The Dot-com collapse.
2026: THE AI BUBBLE?
Different decades. Different narratives.
But the same dangerous ingredients keep showing up.
Extreme valuations.
Relentless speculation.
Investors convinced that prices can only go higher.
And a market increasingly dependent on a handful of stocks.
HERE'S WHAT SHOULD TERRIFY WALL STREET.
Stocks are trading near record highs.
AI companies are priced for years of flawless growth.
Inflation remains a threat.
Bond yields are putting pressure on valuations.
And liquidity could tighten just when investors need it most.
Yet everyone keeps buying the dip.
Why?
Because the market has trained an entire generation to believe every selloff is another buying opportunity.
Until one day, it isn't.
Remember what happened in previous bubbles.
The market didn't collapse because everyone suddenly became bearish.
It collapsed when there weren't enough buyers left to support the prices.
First, momentum fades.
Then the market leaders begin breaking down.
Then the selling spreads.
And by the time everyone realizes what's happening, the damage is already done.
I don't believe the next major decline will necessarily stop at 10% or 15%.
If this bubble unwinds, the downside could be far more severe.
I've spent over a decade studying market cycles and identifying major turning points.
I publicly called Bitcoin's $16K bottom and its $126K top.
Now I'm watching the stock market for another major setup.
I'm not calling the exact day of a crash.
I'm watching for the confirmation that the trend has finally broken.
And when I see it, I'll share my call publicly.

Looks like the Big Kahuna market crash might be here: perfectly timed to nuke Trump before the midterms, a possibility I wrote about almost two years ago. @MarioNawfal and I discuss the consequences of the current market crash. 🫧💥
🇺🇸 The AI bubble may be bursting, and the damage could go far beyond tech stocks.
I spoke with economist Philip Pilkington as another brutal selloff hit the technology sector.
Intel plunged, Alphabet and Amazon have suffered major declines, and Philip says the warning signs are starting to resemble the final stages of a financial bubble.
But his biggest concern isn't the stock market.
It's the enormous amount of money already poured into AI infrastructure.
Philip compared today's data center boom to America's 19th-century railroad mania. Both involved extraordinary investment in infrastructure built on the assumption that future demand would justify the cost.
Some of those railroads never found enough customers. Philip fears the same could happen to data centers.
And unlike the dot-com bubble, he argues that AI spending has become a major driver of the real economy. If investment suddenly dries up, the consequences could spread well beyond Silicon Valley.
He also raised a provocative theory: that major investors may be accelerating the selloff ahead of the US midterms to hurt Trump politically. That's his interpretation, not an established fact.
AI will change the world. But have investors spent FAR more money than the technology can earn back?!
