Black Israeli woman who’s lived in Israel her entire life (almost 27 years):
“People online say Israel hates Black people.
Fascinating… because I was born and raised here.”
When she supports Israel:
“You’re Black, they don’t like you.”
“You’d be arrested if you go there.”
When a Black person supports Palestine:
“They’re standing up for Black people being killed by white people.”
Apparently her Blackness comes with a mandatory political subscription she never signed up for.
She never claimed Israel is perfect or racism-free.
She just refuses to let strangers on the internet erase her identity and lived experience.
She’s not “fighting for Israelis.”
She is Israeli.
This is her country. This is her life.
