But even with all that. it is border line insane to put the livelihoods of so many publishers and artists at risk by not hosting a Black Friday sale. You literally just have to press the sale button. and publishers do the rest.

But it is clear that fab does not even support most categories that the Artstation marketplace offers and that there seems to be no clear timeline on when the marketplace would even be integrated.

Don’t get me wrong. we know the fab team and they are great people. and we will even leave behind the fact that after having the unreal marketplace switch to fab our revenue on there also dropped by more then 50%.

Even through many artists and companies make a living and pay their employees with the help of the Artstation Marketplace.

But eh, that was okay. right? because by their words, we would all move over to fab. Well it has been quite a while since that claim and during this time the Artstation marketplace has fallen more and more behind.

And the actual store accounting for 60-70% of our overall revenue. However, Sadly Epic has greatly been neglecting the Artstation marketplace for years. First they started to hide away the marketplace from the home page, then when Fab was announced they lost all interest.

all this while the industry has already been in an incredibly difficult time. We personally used to be in the top 10 publishers on Artstation. with the Black Friday sale accounting for around 30% of our yearly revenue.

Sure, it is Friday right now and even through it is evening for most of the world maybe they will still launch it. but even so, the damage is done. Marketing campaigns have been thrown in disarray and publishers have lost revenue from the most important sale of the year.

during this time publishers have a chance to increase their income to be able to pay their bills and produce more content. But to everyone's disbelief the Artstation Black Friday sale never happened. Even when all other epic marketplaces launched their sale including Fab.

This is not another complaint about AI but rather about the total lack of effort in supporting publishers who make a living on the Artstation Store. This week was supposed to be Black Friday. the biggest sale of the year and for many publishers a make or break.
