Florida cut $200 million from this project last year. @MyFDOT_Miami's new work program puts it back, which means the commuter rail connecting Downtown Miami, Wynwood, Little Haiti, North Miami and Aventura has all $927.3 million it needs.

This took years, tireless advocacy, and steady leadership! Thank you to @MayorDaniella for her ongoing leadership to get to this transformative stage! Thank you to Mayor Eileen Higgins and @CityofMiami , who fought for the federal dollars that unlocked this project and continue to be partners in delivering it! Great job to @GoMiamiDade's leadership and planners for carrying this project so much closer to the finish line!

Another win for bus riders. 🚍 Today, Miami-Dade restored $9.2 million to Metrobus service. That means 4,211 more riders will still have a bus home come March. So far this year, $21.5 million in cuts have been reversed.

The work is not done. A $9.9 million gap remains. If it is not closed in the coming months, some riders will lose service in March 2027. If Amendment 3 passes, the gap grows by another $29 million next year.

Email your commissioner to tell them to save the last bus below: tr.ee/sMTzrjqN0f
Miami-Dade’s transit faces cuts next spring. Will county commissioners back the 50-cent fare hike @MayorDaniella wants ? I’m hearing a 25-cent hike is in the mix. Would that do much good in terms of bringing back late-night bus service ? miamiherald.com/news/local/c…
