🚨 Unity Small Finance Bank’s Extraordinary Service: Borrow Nothing, Know Nobody, Yet Get Dragged into Someone Else’s Loan Drama!
I thought a mobile connection was for calling family, speaking to friends and updating government records. Apparently, my wife’s number came with an unexpected entertainment package from @UnitySFBank, recovery calls about somebody else’s loan, involving a borrower she has no connection with! 😂 Where is the cancellation button for this ridiculous subscription? Must she submit a loan application to prove she never took one?
The comedy gets better, complaints were raised, the bank reportedly marked one resolved, and a senior recovery representative replied “No data”. Yet the obvious question remains: if there is no data, where did the calls come from? Perhaps the missing explanation has gone on holiday!
Jokes aside, @RBI and @FinMinIndia should expect proper recovery controls, while @TRAI should take persistent unwanted calls seriously. I want the source identified, the number permanently suppressed across relevant systems, and written proof of corrective action. Banking should deliver trust, not unsolicited episodes of financial theatre.
