You constantly accuse us of being "sectarian" but VS are the ones orienting to capitalist parliament, not ordinary workers. Real socialists have always built great revolutionary movements through periods of patient explanation, not opportunist manoeuvring

The Victorian Socialists advance a program that has nothing to do with a genuine struggle for socialism. It is functioning as a safety valve for the ruling class diverting growing anti-capitalist sentiment into the dead-end of protest and pressure politics wsws.org/en/articles/2026/10…

A real Trotskyist doesn’t say this kind of non sense. We reject all Stalinists, Liberals, pabloites, and all forms of pseudo left politics. We have uncompromising differences with those right wing tendencies and any party that subordinates the working class to the bourgeoisie.
I will gladly take a Stalinist over any liberal. And I am a trotskyist.

"Cost of living has gone up way faster than salaries. As you can see with the demonstration, people are feeling the effects of inflation, current political climate... I'm putting 60 to 80 hours a week." lecturer at Cal State Long Beach

The strike must take on the character of an international struggle for workers' power and socialist world revolution. For that, it must break free from the grip of the trade union bureaucracy, which is a brake on the struggle, not an accelerator pedal. wsws.org
NEW: On Friday, dockworkers at 111 ports in 22 countries and regions on five continents will stop work in a coordinated strike against war, according to the most recent information from the organizing unions. More than 25 dockworkers’ unions have now signed on, from Marseille to Mumbai, Hamburg to Montevideo, Melbourne to Oakland. Days ago the count stood at about 100 ports in 17 countries, and that figure doesn’t include the dozens of unions in other sectors that have pledged support. Their demand is simple: no weapons and no military cargo through their ports. Nearly everything the world ships passes through the docks, and without the workers who load and unload it, nothing moves. In France, the main dockers’ union says the country’s ports will be 95% shut. Italy, India, Greece and Turkey face 24-hour strikes, and Morocco and Cyprus will see stoppages of up to two hours, with rallies planned in port cities around the world. In Greece, metalworkers, ship-repair workers and young people are joining the dockers, and in the US, ILWU Local 10 is striking in Oakland and San Francisco. The unions are working from the Istanbul Declaration, signed in May, with each one deciding for itself how to take part. They are also fighting for their own jobs, against cuts from automation and for contracts, raises, shorter hours and safety. The unions point to escalating wars in Ukraine and the Middle East and the danger of a generalized war. They condemn Israel’s new crimes in Hebron, carried out with the backing of the US, NATO and the EU. Israel’s lockdown of the city is now in its sixth day, with more than 3,000 Palestinians displaced, according to the UN. Palestinian unions have endorsed Friday’s action. In Italy, the fight has spilled beyond the docks. The union USB has called for a nationwide general strike. Last night, the Italian government ordered transport workers back on the job last night. USB said it would defy the order and accept the steep penalties. The unions are calling on workers and young people everywhere to stand with the dockworkers, saying “Ports for peace and the peoples, not launching pads for war.” I’m reporting from Calabria, Italy, and I will be in Genoa tomorrow ahead of the strike to report on the ground during the mobilzation.

I just got a visit from the Secret Service for a post I made months ago about the current President. I want to state unequivocally that as a Marxist I don’t believe in individual acts of terror or adventurism. Be careful what you post on here comrades, they are watching us all 🕵️‍♂️

The scale of imperialist criminality is seldom discussed. Here is an excellent exposure from 2024.
The U.S. post-9/11 wars have displaced at least 38 million people.  This exceeds those displaced by every war since 1900, except for World War II.

800,000 signed up to Your Party hoping for a fight against war, inequality and the far right. A year on, its leadership has gutted it. Why, and what next for socialists? #YourParty #Corbyn

One of my favorite quotes which melts the minds of bleeding heart liberals
“There were two ‘Reigns of Terror’...the one wrought murder in hot passions, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon a thousand persons, the other upon a hundred million ..." –Mark Twain

Thanks for the infinite ammo supplied to the “trots are neocons” people 🙄
Talked to @CurtisSliwa today at the bodega he said, “I used to debate who was better Trotsky or Stalin, I’m a Trotsky guy”

Is something in the water at NYC RCA? Were super proud of that MAGA hat guy holding up their newspaper and now goofing around with a pro-ICE Republican who gained their notoriety from running a vigilante hate group

I don’t think on my time here I have come across a more easily flappable group than Finnish nationalists who, using COD logic, have coped themselves into believing they won a war in which they lost 10% of their land and their second largest city
