Our enemy, the Evil One, seldom comes right up the middle when he's attacking the work of God. His approach is not to march up the center aisle, challenging the exposition of Scripture. He comes up the side aisles, sowing seeds of discord.

Walking in Light: A Morning Prayer Inspired by
1 John 1
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I begin this new day, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and love, knowing that Your presence surrounds me and Your love never ceases.
Your Word tells us that "God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all."
Lord, I thank You for being the source of pure and unwavering light in my life, guiding my steps and filling me with Your grace.
As I prepare to face the challenges and blessings of this day, I am reminded of the importance of walking in the light, just as You are in the light.
Father, help me to live a life that is transparent before You, where there is no room for hidden darkness or deceit.
Shine Your light into every corner of my heart, revealing any areas that need Your cleansing touch.
I acknowledge that I am not without sin, and Your Word assures me that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
So, I come humbly before You, confessing my shortcomings and asking for Your forgiveness. Thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
Lord, help me to love as You love, to show kindness and compassion to others, and to be a reflection of Your light in this world from the very moment I open my eyes in the morning.
May my life be a testimony to Your grace and mercy, drawing others closer to You.
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

“Forgiving myself” is common practice among Christians today, almost taken for granted as right, necessary, and biblical. The idea runs roughly like this: when I sin, I must confess my wrongdoing to God, accept his pardon, and then forgive myself.

Living Like a Pilgrim by J.C. Ryle
We must beware of thinking too much about our meals, our furniture, our houses, and all those many things which concern the life of the body.
We must strive to live like people whose first thoughts are about the immortal soul. We must endeavor to pass through the world like people who are not yet at home, and are not so troubled about the fare they meet with on the road and at the inn. Blessed are they who feel like pilgrims and strangers in this life, and whose best things are all to come!

Children of Faith: A Prayer Inspired by Galatians 3
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you with a grateful heart, thankful for the love and grace you pour upon us each day.
Your word in Galatians 3 reminds us of the incredible gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
I want to lift my voice to you in prayer, guided by these verses, to express my love, trust, and dependence on you.
"For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith." Lord, I am overwhelmed by the realization that through my faith in Jesus, I am your beloved child.
Thank you for adopting me into your family, for embracing me with your love and grace. I am eternally grateful for the assurance of salvation that faith in Christ provides.
"For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ." Lord, I remember the day I was baptized, symbolizing my commitment to follow you and be transformed by your presence.
Clothe me daily with the character of Christ, that I may reflect your love, compassion, and righteousness to others.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Father, help me to see others as you see them, as beloved creations, without distinction or prejudice.
May I live out this unity in my relationships, treating all people with love, respect, and dignity.
"And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise." Heavenly Father, I am humbled to be counted among the heirs of your promises, just like Abraham.
May I walk in faith, trusting in your promises, and seeking to live a life that brings honor and glory to your name.
As I close this prayer, I want to express my deep love and gratitude to you, God.
Thank you for the gift of your word, which guides and comforts us.
Thank you for the gift of faith, which connects us to you in a profound way.
May my life be a living testimony to the transformative power of your grace, as described in Galatians 3.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen.

Grace and Peace: A Prayer from Galatians 1
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I come before Your presence this morning, my heart is filled with gratitude for the love You have showed me.
Your Word in Galatians chapter 1 reminds me of the precious truth that I am set free through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Lord, I thank You for the message of grace and peace that Paul shared in Galatians 1:3-5.
It is a message that brings hope to my soul, knowing that I am saved not by my own works, but by Your unmerited favor. Your grace is a gift beyond measure, and I am humbled by Your love.
In Galatians 1:10, Paul reminds us to seek Your approval above all else. Lord, help me to live a life that is pleasing to You, seeking Your will in all I do.
Help me to not be swayed by the opinions of others, but rather, may I always strive to be Your faithful servant.
I lift up those around me, Father, that they may also come to know the freedom and joy found in Christ.
Just as Paul proclaimed in Galatians 1:15-16, You have a unique purpose for each of us. I pray that Your light may shine brightly through us, drawing others closer to You.
Lord, guard my heart against any false teachings or distractions that may lead me away from the truth found in Your Word, as cautioned in Galatians 1:6-9.
Help me to discern what is in alignment with Your will and what is not, always clinging to the unchanging message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
In closing, I thank You, Father, for the assurance found in Galatians 1:8-9 that Your truth will endure forever.
May Your Word continue to be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path as I journey through this day and through life.
In the name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.

Christian, your justification is not dependent upon your holy living.
I want you to live a holy life but I don't want you to think your standing before an immutably just God is based on anything you will, or have, done.

Lay it all down and run to Jesus! Run as a little kid run to His father! Run from death to life! You've carried a burden for too long and you weren't created to bear it alone. Receive what God has planned for you and fall into His grace— His mercy is calling you! He's coming!
Jesus sees your condition — He had a plan from the start. He knew you before the foundation of this world, and He paid for your heart when He went to the cross. You can't possibly comprehend this type of love—it's impossible to understand. But all you need to do is receive it, and run to Him.
The disciples asked Jesus:
📖"Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
Jesus called a little child and said:
📖“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. Matthew 18:2-5
What Jesus meant by this was that the kingdom of God is not a status-based society or culture. It's not based on intelligence, skills, or experience— it's solely based on complete dependence on God to provide everything they need.
💗Take Away:
Leave behind the burdens of this status-based society, humble yourself, and step into the freedom of the Kingdom of God!
