The Bahamas has treated the King to a fabulous start to his 9-day tour to the Caribbean - his first to the region since his accession...
Nobody welcomes you quite like Bahamians! 🇧🇸 Our young people gave His Majesty King Charles an experience he'll never forget, and they made us all proud!

Sophie giving Anne a run for her money for hardest working royal. ;)
It was an honor to welcome Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh to Nokia’s newly refreshed Executive Experience Center in Espoo. We had a great discussion on how trusted connectivity, AI and secure networks can help build safer, more resilient societies. Every day, @Nokia is turning these technologies into real-world impact through the networks that communities and nations depend on. @RoyalFamily

Piggybacking on @THERoyalCrabbit ’s post to echo her hearty thanks to two of my favorite X posters. No drama, just top quality, well-researched posts that make every day better.
A tremendously BIG thank you to both @Remisagoodboy & @Mari_Edinburghs for once again tag-teaming Sophie Edinburgh’s wardrobe! I desperately needed this crisis-intervention of the psycho-drama swirling around us.

Sometimes I think Labradors are so ridiculously friendly that evolution simply forgot to explain to them that not every small creature they meet is their responsibility. Back in May 2018, at Mountfitchet Castle in Essex, England, a 10-year-old Labrador named Fred somehow ended up becoming a single father to nine ducklings after their mother disappeared and while the staff were understandably worried about what would happen to the little birds, Fred apparently decided that this was now his problem. And the best part is that the ducklings seemed perfectly happy with this arrangement, following him around, climbing onto his back, cuddling up to him and even accompanying him into the castle moat for a swim, because apparently nobody involved in this situation was particularly concerned about the fact that their new father was a dog. You'd think that raising nine children who aren't even the same species as you would be enough parenting experience for one lifetime, especially when your children insist on using you as public transport, but Fred apparently disagreed. Because in 2022, when he was around 15 years old, another mother duck disappeared, leaving behind 15 ducklings, and Fred once again took on the job of looking after them. At an age when most dogs would probably prefer a comfortable bed, a quiet afternoon and absolutely no responsibilities, this Labrador somehow found himself running a daycare center for an entire flock of tiny yellow creatures. And honestly, I find it fascinating that an animal can be so gentle and tolerant towards creatures that aren't even remotely related to it. Fred didn't care that they were ducks. They were small, they needed someone, and apparently that was enough. Although I do wonder whether, at some point, he looked at all 15 of them sitting on his back and thought: "I really need to stop making eye contact with unattended children."

The Princess of Wales is considering a partnership with Melinda French Gates on young people’s development projects. The pair met in London on October 8, after an initial meeting at Windsor Castle in June. Kate’s Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood is seeking to collaborate with Pivotal, which French Gates founded in 2015 as an investment and philanthropic vehicle aimed at women and families. They discussed how to better support children and young people’s social and emotional development, with specific recognition of the role relationships and early experiences play in lifelong health and wellbeing. ✍🏻 Laura Wildenberg for the Times

First William broke viewing records for the Graham Norton show, now the BBC. He’s smart, he’s funny, and he’s just a really good human being at a time when we desperately need more of them.
The BBC has revealed that its exclusive interview with Prince William about Kevin Sinfield’s MND challenges attracted its biggest audience of October and its largest audience in more than two months, massively outperforming all other morning shows. 👏🏽👏🏽

Take That has said: « We’ve been lucky enough to perform in some incredible places around the world over the past 35 years, but India is somewhere we’ve always dreamed of bringing our music. To be performing here for the very first time, after all these years, and alongside the extraordinary people creating a better future for our planet — is really special. As we’ve seen the world over, music has an exquisite way of bringing people together, and we can’t wait to share that magic with The Earthshot Prize and the world from Mumbai. We’re ready for a night we’ll never forget. »
🗺️🎶 The Earthshot Prize (@EarthshotPrize), the world’s most prestigious environmental award founded by Prince William, is today revealing that Take That — one of the most successful bands in British chart history — will perform at its 2026 Awards Night in Mumbai on 17 November, alongside a host of global stars across music, film, & sport. The Awards Night marks Take That’s first ever performance in India. Gary, Mark & Howard will share the stage with a remarkable line-up of stars in Mumbai for a historic celebration of environmental leadership. The band will perform ahead of the release of their upcoming album Dreamers on 20th November; their 10th studio album. Renowned Indian composer, music producer & two-time national award winner, Shashwat Sachdev will also bring his distinctive cinematic sound to The Earthshot Prize for the show’s spectacular finale. The young maestro’s credits include the Indian blockbuster Dhurandhar & its 2026 sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, & he has collaborated with Hans Zimmer on the theme for the BBC show Virdee. Take That & Shashwat Sachdev will be uniting with global stars Sachin Tendulkar, Alia Bhatt, Rami Malek, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonam Kapoor, & Simone Ashley at the Awards Night, which will be sponsored by the Serum Institute of India. They will join renowned Indian filmmaker & Awards Night Host, Karan Johar, & Earthshot Ambassadors Robert Irwin & Nomzamo Mbatha, along with 5,000 distinguished guests in Mumbai, for a historic celebration of environmental leadership.

I love that Prince William is giving on camera interviews these days. He counters the lies in the tabloids by telling us directly who he is and what is important to him - staying positive, highlighting good causes, and his beautiful little family.
On #BBCBreakfast on Monday an exclusive interview with HRH The Prince of Wales. Prince William pays tribute to Sir Kevin Sinfield and his efforts to support people living with MND. We talk about leadership, the power of community and helping each other when times are tough. From 6am on BBC One. Then a special film - Thank You Sir Kev - on BBC One at 8pm and also on BBC iPlayer.
