STATEMENT FROM JACK CAMPBELL
My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.
I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.
My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.
I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.
To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.
One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.
Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
God is good. My faith is strong.

🚨 🎙️ Stephen A. Smith On Detroit Lions victory :
🗣️"Listen to me! Listen to me VERY CAREFULLY!
I have stood on television, day in and day out, and I have warned you about Dan Campbell's Detroit Lions! And what happened today at Ford Field?! The final whistle blew, and the Lions moved to 5-2 on the season with a gritty 19-15 victory!
Look at what Jahmyr Gibbs did out there today—gashing that defense for 153 rushing yards! Absolutely dynamic! Amon-Ra St. Brown—a complete BROTHER, reliable as sunrise! And Jameson Williams taking off on that 46-yard touchdown strike?! Un-catchable! On defense, Aidan Hutchinson and Alim McNeill were setting the physical tone and collapsing the pocket all afternoon long!
And as for the Minnesota Vikings... BLASPHEMOUS! Absolute bonafide scrub behavior! You walked into Detroit thinking you were going to impose your will, and you got completely dominated on the ground! 230 rushing yards surrendered! You looked listless! You looked unprepared! It was a TRAGESTY, plain and simple!
The NFC North runs through Motor City, and if you can't see that right now, you need to check your prescription!"

As we wait and hope for an update that Lions LB Jack Campbell has movement in his extremities, it’s another reminder for me to never take for granted what these men do for our entertainment.
Jack Campbell is 26.
He is married.
Their baby boy is 4 months old Tuesday.
If you are inclined to pray, send one his way tonight.

Jameson Williams speaks on Jack Campbell:
"We just turned it up a notch for our brother. He goes out there and puts it on the line every single play for us. That’s why he’s got the C on his chest. We’re praying for him."

After Campbell went down, Jared Goff threw multiple blocks downfield on running plays, and then iced the game with an angry as hell QB sneak.
The funniest thing about Goff's game is how tough he is. One of the toughest QBs in the league. He sure doesn't look like it. But he is.

The refs just called Penei Sewell for a false start.
Buddy didn’t move a muscle. What is going on in Detroit.
