NNFM's quarterly loss was bigger than its quarterly sales. Read that again, then check the numbers. Q2 2027 vs Q2 2026 (Simply Wall St summary of the filing): 📉 Revenue: ₦2.06b (down 72%) 📉 Net loss: ₦2.29b (vs a small profit last year) 📉 EPS: -₦12.86 (vs +₦0.81) Net loss of ₦2.29b on revenue of ₦2.06b. By our own arithmetic, that's a loss of more than ₦1 for every ₦1 sold. Verify it in the filing. A loss like that usually comes from one of two places: 1️⃣ The core business shrank. Revenue fell about 72%. Was it a production halt, a raw-material or FX squeeze, or lost customers? 2️⃣ Something below the operating line hit hard. Think finance costs, FX losses or impairments. These can be one-offs or a pattern. The two have very different implications. A temporary disruption can recover. A broken model may not. The share price is ₦79.40, down about 15% over a year and flat over the last 7 days. A flat price right after a result like this doesn't mean the market agrees with it. Liquidity can be thin, and prices can lag the news. So before anyone calls this a "cheap stock" or a "falling knife", which questions would you answer first? • What happened to operating cash flow? • How much debt is there, and who is it owed to? • What does management say about the next two quarters? • Is this a one-quarter event or the third bad quarter in a row? A low price is not a margin of safety. A margin of safety needs a business you understand. FQVDM determines what you buy, while the crash framework determines when the risk/reward becomes attractive. 📚 Learn to read results like this yourself: nestuge.me/uzeestocksupdate 🛒 Stock Analysis Template and guides: paystack.shop/uzee-stocks-up… 📲 WhatsApp: wa.me/2348033481247 📢 Channel: whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbC… ✉️ Partnerships: [email protected] | Questions: [email protected] 🌐 uzeeinvest.ng ▶️ youtube.com/@uzeestocksupdat… Educational content, not investment advice. Fidson's Q3 net income: +106%. Its EPS: about +58%. Same company, different story. The gap usually means more shares. Headline profit isn't per-share profit. Always check EPS and the share count. Learn to read results: nestuge.me/uzeestocksupdate #NGX

Fidson's profit more than doubled. Its EPS didn't. Why? Q3 2026 vs Q3 2025 (Simply Wall St summary of the filing): 📈 Revenue: ₦38.1b (+25%) 📈 Net income: ₦4.02b (+106%) 📈 EPS: ₦1.34 (vs ₦0.85, about +58%) 📈 Net margin: 11% (vs 6.4%) Net income grew 106%. EPS grew about 58%. When profit grows faster than EPS, ask one question: did the number of shares change? Dividing net income by EPS suggests the share count rose roughly 30% year on year. That's our own arithmetic, not a reported figure. Check the filing before you rely on it. Why this matters: the business can earn more while each share earns less than the headline implies. Many investors read "profit +106%" and stop. The better investor asks what happened to the per-share number. Three more things to check: 1️⃣ Margin: it rose from 6.4% to 11%. Was that pricing power, cost control or a one-off? 2️⃣ Cash flow: is the profit turning into cash? 3️⃣ Price vs earnings: the share price is up 107.5% in a year (₦87.15). EPS has grown about 44% a year over 3 years, while the price has grown about 80% a year. When price runs ahead of earnings, expectations rise. That isn't automatically bad, but it raises the bar. Analysts forecast about 19% annual revenue growth over the next 3 years. A forecast is a possibility, not a promise. So what would make you wrong about Fidson? What would you need to see in the next result to stay confident? 🎓 THE WORD FOR TODAY 📚 📅 DATE: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2026 🌿 THEME: SPEAK WORDS OF LIFE AND HEALTH 📖 TEXT: “Gentle words cause life and health…” — Proverbs 15:4 (TLB) 💬 YOUR WORDS MATTER! Words have power. They can encourage a broken heart, restore hope, strengthen relationships, or cause deep pain. As Christians, our words should reflect our faith and the love of God. How can we use our words wisely? 1️⃣ Encourage Others: Speak words that inspire hope and give people strength to keep going. 2️⃣ Speak the Truth in Love: Correct others with kindness, not to condemn or humiliate them. (Proverbs 27:6) 3️⃣ Ask God for Wisdom: Pray for the grace to know when to speak, what to say, and when to remain silent. 4️⃣ Speak Words That Build: Avoid gossip, insults, and destructive criticism. Let your words bring peace, wisdom, and encouragement. 💡 FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Before you speak, ask yourself: Is it true? Is it helpful? Can I say it with love? 🙏 PRAYER: Lord, guide my words today. Help me speak with wisdom, kindness, and love. May my words encourage others, bring peace, and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 📖 BIBLE IN A YEAR: 1 John 3:11–5:21; John 7:25–44; Psalm 104:27–35; Proverbs 24:29. COURTESY: TEACH THE WORD MINISTRIES 🎤 ✨ Speak life. Spread love. Be a blessing! God bless you all. 🙏 – at Ogbodiukwu, Nigeria

🇳🇬 3 NGX STOCKS. 3 DIFFERENT STORIES. ONE INVESTOR LESSON. SFSREIT: Is the distribution sustainable? Zenith Bank: Can earnings outrun rising costs? GTCO: Can excess capital generate profitable growth? A stock's story is only the beginning. 🧵👇 1️⃣ SFSREIT | NGX: SFSREIT The opportunity: Growing income and distributions. The concern: Rising expenses and a shrinking cash balance could put pressure on future payouts. My question: Are distributions supported by sustainable operating income, or partly by asset sales and other temporary sources? 2️⃣ ZENITH BANK | NGX: ZENITHBANK The opportunity: A stronger capital base and investment in technology. The concern: Regulatory charges and operating expenses could weaken earnings growth. My question: Is the bank converting its capital strength into higher sustainable returns for shareholders? 3️⃣ GTCO | NGX: GTCO The opportunity: A substantial capital base and growing payments-related opportunities. The concern: Capital creates value only when deployed profitably without taking excessive risks. My question: Can GTCO grow loans, fee income and earnings while maintaining asset quality? 🎯 THE UZEE INVESTOR'S VERDICT Don't buy a stock simply because an analyst calls it undervalued. Investigate: • Revenue and earnings quality. • Cash flow and balance-sheet strength. • Return on equity and capital allocation. • Dividend sustainability. • Valuation assumptions and downside risks. The newsletter's estimated fair values—₦390 for SFSREIT, ₦145 for Zenith Bank and ₦157 for GTCO—depend on forecasts that may not materialise. An attractive price is a starting point for research, not the conclusion. Which would you investigate first: SFSREIT, Zenith Bank or GTCO? 🚨 ALPHABET REPORTED $127.58B IN REVENUE. ITS STOCK STILL FELL SHARPLY. Meanwhile, Microsoft beat revenue and earnings estimates. What should investors learn from this? The stock market doesn't reward revenue alone. It rewards results relative to expectations. Here's the breakdown. 🧵 1️⃣ Revenue growth isn't the whole story. According to the supplied October 28 market snapshot: Alphabet's revenue: $127.58B Estimated revenue: $124.63B Reported EPS: $2.12 Estimated EPS: $2.99 Revenue beat expectations, but earnings per share fell short. That distinction matters. A company can sell more while delivering less profit per share than investors expected. 2️⃣ Beating estimates doesn't guarantee a rising stock. Microsoft reported: • Revenue: $92.28B vs. $90.7B estimated. • EPS: $4.89 vs. $4.72 estimated. Both figures beat expectations. But even when a company delivers strong results, investors must assess its guidance, valuation, cash flow and future growth prospects. 3️⃣ A falling stock isn't automatically cheap. A sharp decline can create an opportunity—or expose a business priced for unrealistic expectations. Before buying a dip, investigate: ✅ Fundamentals: Are earnings and cash flow improving? ✅ Quality: Does the company have a durable competitive advantage? ✅ Valuation: Is the price justified by expected future cash flows? ✅ Momentum: Is selling pressure easing or intensifying? THE UZEE INVESTOR'S RULE: Don't buy because a stock has fallen. Don't buy simply because earnings beat expectations. Understand the business. Evaluate the price. Identify the risks. Then decide. FUNDAMENTALS FIRST. ALWAYS. 🚨 WALL STREET IS EMBRACING CRYPTO. BUT DOES THAT MEAN EVERY CRYPTO INVESTOR WILL WIN? Not so fast. Three lessons from the latest crypto developments 🧵👇 1/ Bitcoin: Patience beats prediction. When technical indicators conflict, don't force a trade. A support level isn't guaranteed to hold. A bullish crossover isn't proof of a recovery. Wait for confirmation. Define your risk. Protect your capital. 2/ Tokenization: Follow the infrastructure. Traditional finance is exploring blockchain to represent and transfer assets digitally. But here's the distinction: Adoption of blockchain technology does NOT automatically mean every associated token will appreciate. Study the business model, token utility, demand, supply and value captured by token holders. 3/ Privacy and DeFi: Innovation comes with trade-offs. Privacy tools, cross-chain transactions and institutional DeFi could improve how financial markets operate. But smart-contract vulnerabilities, custody risks, regulatory uncertainty and liquidity problems remain real concerns. New technology is not automatically a good investment. 🎯 THE UZEE INVESTOR'S RULE: Understand the technology. Investigate the fundamentals. Evaluate the valuation. Measure the risks. Then decide. FUNDAMENTALS FIRST. ALWAYS. What's more important to you: crypto adoption or a token's ability to capture real economic value? 🚨 THE FED PAUSED. BIG TECH REPORTED. INVESTORS STILL HAD TO MAKE A DECISION. Here are 3 lessons from Wall Street that every serious investor should understand. 1️⃣ A Fed pause doesn't eliminate uncertainty. Interest rates affect borrowing costs, company valuations and investor appetite for risk. Don't invest based on what you THINK the Fed will do. Build a strategy that can survive being wrong. 2️⃣ Great companies can disappoint investors. Alphabet's revenue grew approximately 25% year over year in Q3 2026, yet its results fell short of expectations. Its stock declined after the announcement. The lesson? A good business isn't automatically a good investment at every price. 3️⃣ AI growth must justify its cost. Record demand for AI infrastructure is encouraging, but investors must examine capital expenditure, cash flow, profitability and returns on invested capital. Revenue growth alone doesn't prove that shareholders are getting value. 📌 THE UZEE INVESTOR'S CHECKLIST: Before buying any stock, ask: • Are the fundamentals improving? • Is the business financially strong? • Is the valuation reasonable? • Can earnings and cash flow support future growth? • What could invalidate my investment thesis? My verdict: WAIT for evidence when uncertainty is high. Don't confuse a market opportunity with an obligation to invest. FUNDAMENTALS FIRST. ALWAYS. Which matters more to you when analysing a stock: business quality or valuation? Tell me why. 🚨 EVERYONE IS WATCHING NVIDIA. BUT AI'S BIGGEST OPPORTUNITIES MAY EXTEND BEYOND THE CHIP. AI needs more than powerful processors. It needs memory, electricity and the infrastructure to deliver that power. That creates 4 different investment themes worth understanding. 👇 1️⃣ SEMICONDUCTORS — $SMH The VanEck Semiconductor ETF provides exposure to semiconductor companies, including NVIDIA and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). Why it matters: AI systems need increasingly powerful chips. ⚠️ Risk: Semiconductor stocks can be highly cyclical, and concentration in a few large companies can amplify losses. 2️⃣ MEMORY — $DRAM The Roundhill Memory ETF targets companies involved in memory technology. Why it matters: AI processors need fast memory to process and access large amounts of data efficiently. ⚠️ Risk: Memory is a competitive, cyclical industry. A surge in demand today doesn't guarantee high profits tomorrow. 3️⃣ AI POWER INFRASTRUCTURE — $AIPO The Defiance AI & Power Infrastructure ETF targets companies involved in electricity, power equipment and data-centre infrastructure. Why it matters: AI data centres need reliable electricity, cooling and specialised equipment. ⚠️ Risk: High capital expenditure, project delays, financing costs and valuation can affect returns. 4️⃣ SMART GRIDS — $GRID The First Trust Nasdaq Clean Edge Smart Grid Infrastructure Index Fund invests in companies connected to modernising electricity grids. Why it matters: Expanding electricity demand requires investment in transmission, distribution and grid technology. ⚠️ Risk: Infrastructure spending can take years to translate into profitable growth. 📌 HERE'S THE LESSON FOR INVESTORS. These ETFs don't offer identical exposure to AI. • $SMH focuses on semiconductors. • $DRAM focuses on memory. • $AIPO targets AI-related power infrastructure. • $GRID offers broader smart-grid exposure. But here's what many investors overlook: A powerful investment theme doesn't automatically make an ETF a good investment. Before buying, examine: ✅ Holdings and concentration risk. ✅ Expense ratio and other costs. ✅ Valuation of the underlying companies. ✅ Revenue and earnings sustainability. ✅ Historical volatility and potential drawdowns. ✅ Whether the ETF fits your portfolio and investment horizon. And remember: owning four ETFs doesn't necessarily mean you're well diversified. Their holdings may overlap, exposing you to similar risks. 🇳🇬 For Nigerian investors seeking U.S. market exposure, also consider broker eligibility, foreign-exchange costs, taxes and applicable cross-border investment rules. UZEE VERDICT: RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY. Don't chase the ETF that performed best last month. Understand what it owns, why those businesses could grow and how much you're paying for that opportunity. 💬 Your turn: If you were researching AI infrastructure, which layer would you study first: chips, memory, power or the electricity grid? Your ETF may have changed—even if you haven’t touched it in 5 years. Buying and holding doesn’t mean your portfolio’s exposure stays the same. Consider this: 📌 QQQ gives you exposure to Nasdaq-100 companies. 📌 SMH focuses on semiconductor stocks. As companies grow, their weights in market-cap-weighted funds can increase. As of October 2026, Nvidia represents roughly 8.2% of QQQ and 20.6% of SMH. That’s a major difference in exposure. And if you own both ETFs, you’re increasing your exposure to some of the same companies. Here’s what smart ETF investors should review: 1. Holdings: What companies do you actually own? 2. Overlap: Are you buying different ETFs that hold the same stocks? 3. Concentration: How much of your money depends on a few companies or one industry? 4. Valuation: Are the underlying businesses worth what the market is pricing them at? 5. Purpose: Does each ETF still serve a clear role in your portfolio? The goal isn’t to trade every time an ETF changes. It’s to understand what you own, why you own it, and whether the risks still fit your investment plan. Fundamentals First. Always. Your biggest investing mistake might happen BEFORE you buy your first stock. 🇳🇬📉 You hear a stock is about to “blow.” WhatsApp is buzzing. People are predicting massive gains. Everyone seems to know something you don't. So, you invest your hard-earned naira. But did you check the company's financial statements? Its valuation? Its debt? Or did you simply trust the excitement? That's how speculation replaces investing. If you invest on the NGX or buy US stocks from Nigeria, remember these 5 lessons: 1. Verify stock tips. Hype is not research. 2. Study the business. Examine revenue, profit, cash flow and debt. 3. Understand valuation. A ₦10 stock isn't automatically cheap. 4. Manage risk. Consider diversification, currency exposure and potential losses. 5. Have a plan. Know your goals before committing your money. Your money represents your time, effort and sacrifice. 🇳🇬 NGX INVESTOR ALERT | 28 OCTOBER 2026 Smart investors don't just watch prices. They investigate what moves them. Today's InfoWARE IDIA news highlights several developments NGX investors should pay attention to: 📌 1. Unusual Volume Alert InfoWARE flagged unusual trading volume at 11:20 a.m. Unusual volume can signal increased investor interest, a large transaction or a reaction to new information. But remember: high volume does not automatically mean a stock is worth buying. 📌 2. FGN Savings Bonds The exchange announced the listing of FGN Savings Bonds issued in October 2026. Investors should examine the interest rate, maturity, payment terms and suitability for their financial goals. 📌 3. New Listing A new-listing announcement is a reminder to understand a company's business, financial position and valuation before considering its shares. 📌 4. Off-Market Trade An off-market trade deserves attention, but the transaction details matter. Check the security, volume, price and nature of the transaction before drawing conclusions about market sentiment. 📊 THE UZEE INVESTOR'S CHECKLIST Before buying any NGX stock, ask: • Fundamentals: Is the business financially healthy? • Quality: Does it have a sustainable competitive advantage? • Valuation: Is the current price reasonable? • Dividend: Are distributions affordable and sustainable? • Momentum: Is price and volume action confirming the thesis? This is the FQVDM framework. It helps you investigate opportunities instead of chasing market noise. ⚠️ Important: A news alert is a starting point for research, not a buy signal. The email alone does not provide enough information to identify the stock behind the unusual-volume alert or determine the direction of its next move. 💬 Question for NGX investors: When a stock suddenly records unusual volume, what do you investigate first — the news, the financial statements or the price chart? 🇳🇬 EVERY NIGERIAN — INCLUDING A BABY BORN TODAY — REPRESENTS ABOUT ₦716,822 IN PUBLIC DEBT. Let that sink in. According to Nigeria’s latest reported public debt figures, total debt reached ₦166.79 trillion as of June 30, 2026. Divided by the population estimate used, that works out to roughly ₦716,822 per person. But let’s be clear: this does not mean every Nigerian has a personal bill for ₦716,822. It is a way of illustrating the scale of government debt. The bigger questions are: 🔎 What is the borrowed money funding? 🏗️ Is it creating productive infrastructure, jobs and economic growth? 💰 Can Nigeria service its debt without squeezing essential public services? 📊 Are citizens getting measurable value from the borrowing? Debt is not automatically bad. What matters is how much is borrowed, the cost of borrowing, and what the money achieves. Nigeria needs more than borrowing figures. It needs transparency, productive investment and results citizens can see. 💬 PTA: What should be the government’s top priority when borrowing—job creation, infrastructure, healthcare or education?
