There's no such thing as "consent" when you have a gun to your head. When these companies dangle your future or livelihood over the fire if you don't comply with their demands. Bad enough with adults, much less children. Absolutely vile. Everything about generative AI is vile.

Don't just TELL us you're not gonna use AI for subs and dubs. Just DON'T use it...at all. Respect this art. It shouldn't even be an option.
Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini says the company will respect creators' decisions on whether to use AI in their work, but says Crunchyroll itself will not use AI for subs or dubs
"We want to make sure creators get to tell the stories the way they want to tell them, whatever technology they want to use, but it is the creator intent.
They get to tell the story, and we want to be authentic to their storytelling, and so thatโs why weโre not using AI in our creative process โ whether itโs subtitling or dubbing."

I feel like some people forget that accessibility is helpful for everyone, not just disabled folksโจ
It makes things more flexible for you, too.
This industry has the opportunity to lift up so many voices, please give new people a chance๐
