For those wondering what setup to do for NBA props ๐
Hereโs what has been working for me, betting Player Props using VBF:
1. Set alerts closer to kickoff: 2 hours before the start when limits are higher and more lineup info is available.
2. Liquidity: As in any other market this is key, more liquidity means a stronger signal. Iโve set a minimum of 500 โฌ.
3. Novig as sharp reference for player props: I have been focused on Novig as the main reference, using Kalshi and Pinnacle as support. If all 3 agree on a price itโs a no brainer.
4. NBA: Definitely NBA volume has been the highest, so Iโve been using VBF EV Scanner mainly. Those alerts provide me enough volume during the afternoon (in Mexico) to keep me busy.
5. Aprox. 7% CLV: Been betting mostly on player props this week and it already shows a solid CLV (still over a modest sample).

The NBA just named Kalshi and Polymarket its preferred prediction market exchanges.
The league gets to approve which markets they can offer. In return they get official data to settle markets, team logos and ads on game broadcasts.
Both also have to help flag suspicious trading and share data for investigations, and the NBA signed a memorandum of understanding with the CFTC.
