I’ve seen @ellenschutt take the tough votes to always put constituents first.
She was a great state representative and will be a state senator who fights for what is right, not what is popular.
Vote Ellen Schutt.

.@POTUS at Mount Rushmore:
On this anniversary, we must remember that American liberty has not endured for 250 years merely because of words on paper; liberty has prevailed here because of the culture and character of the people who declared it, defended it, and preserved it.
The identity of a nation is the destiny of a nation — and America has a destiny like no other because we are a people like no other.
Here, the Old World sent its bravest, boldest, and most resilient — its fiercest, most faithful, and freedom-loving. These men and women brought values, traditions, and customs transmitted over centuries in Britain, and stretching back even further to Athens, Jerusalem, and Rome. The United States of America is where the greatest civilization in human history became greater than ever before.
On the granite hills and rugged plains of this wide-open continent, they forged a uniquely American character, and a new breed of citizen. Americans did not bow before a King or Government, but kneeled only before Almighty God.
These were the people who founded our Republic. These were the patriots that fought for independence. This was the spirit that demanded freedom. And this was the culture that built America, and carved its heroes into Mount Rushmore.
For generations, it was understood that the core patriotic duty of every American was to pass this culture on to our children — and preserve the nation for centuries to come.
But in recent years, there has been an undeniable attempt to change this exceptional Character, to beat the American Spirit out of us, alienate us from our history, and make it impossible to even answer the question, 'what does it mean to be an American?”
As we march into our 250th year, we must never forget, there is no American Freedom without American culture — and there is no American founding without the American people.
Many nations have paper constitutions and legal systems, but the citizens live in fear and squalor. A constitution is only as strong as the people and the culture responsible for upholding it.
But as long as we remember who we are, the United States of America will forever be the land of free men and women — and we will never, ever fail. 🇺🇸

All 15 Democrat members of the Wisconsin State Senate voted against this bipartisan, negotiated bill that would have lowered property taxes, provided income tax relief and increased special education funding for schools.

I’m disgusted by what didn’t happen today.
A good deal for WI - stopping 2026 prop tax increase, rebate, no tax on tips/OT Special Ed, was killed.
Because Hutton, Nass & Kapenga and every Dem wanted to spend more or keep it. It’s You’re Money!

Milwaukee’s solution to crime is… banning food trucks after 10 PM?
Small business owners aren’t the problem. Criminals are.
Maybe instead of going after neighborhood workers, the Common Council should support police, lock up criminals, and stop making excuses for crime.

Republicans believe university admissions should be based on hard work and good grades. We passed a bill to guarantee that. Democrats opposed it, and of course, Tony Evers vetoed it. It’ll be interesting to see what criteria his regents prioritize instead. Do you think @RepJacobson or @RepRobynVining will volunteer to look your child in the eye and explain why they were rejected?

Illegal aliens that commit crimes should be deported. Period. Madison Dems are far left of the Clintons, Obama, & even Tony Evers (until his handlers forced him to cave to the radical mob that runs their party). Dems in Madison are making it clear they want WI to turn into MN.

.@GovEvers signed three of my bills this week!
The first bill, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 163, ensures new energy storage facilities are included in the calculation for utility aid payments made to local governments.
The second bill, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 176, expands @WisDCF’s successful Transitional Jobs/Transform Milwaukee Jobs program – helping up to 350 more Wisconsinites join the workforce each year.
The third bill, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 180, puts additional precautions in place when a sexually violent person is released from prison back into our community.
Thank you to my coauthors @SenJesseJames, Sen. @Vanwanggaard, and @SenHutton for working with me on these bills. I’m proud we were able to get them across the finish line!

Why? Because choice families could benefit too.
