A token buyback sounds good on paper. But what happens after the tokens are purchased?
Thatโs where GRVT made an important distinction.
@grvt_io completed its first buyback, purchasing approximately 1.1 million GRVT tokens, nearly 1% of the circulating supply at the time. Those tokens were burned, not kept in a treasury.
Why does that matter?
Because buying tokens and permanently removing them from circulation are two different things.
The next thing I want to see is how GRVT maintains transparency around future buybacks, especially with its plans for a public dashboard showing purchases, cumulative burns, and transaction hashes.
One completed buyback is a beginning. Consistency and verifiable execution will tell the bigger story.
