Foster care is not for everyone, but it is for someone. And that someone is the difference children in care need. If you want to find out more about fostering children with a not-for-profit, please get in touch at ververecruitment.org/contact…

Thousands of young people in council care sent to live more than 20 miles away from home, analysis shows. And it now costs £300,000 a year on average to provide a care home placement for a child.

And now, the end is near
The Tories face the final curtain
The exit poll made it clear
Conservative defeat is now certain
They've pinched a bucket-full
Left holes on each and every highway
And less, much less than this
They made their lies pay
Good days, they've had so few
But then again, too few to mention
Ignored what they had to do
Shirked responsibility without exception
They fought fake culture wars
Flogged infrastructure off to Huawei
And less, much less than this
They made their lies pay
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you'll mourn
Like the MP caught with tractor porn
After four leaders, left with just Rishi
Bets on the election all very fishy
You voted Labour, I've got a new neighbour
Time to do things my way!

Apologies for the background music; however, it is a 1920's tearoom that, thanks to a flood, was a challenge. Thanks to everyone who supported our renovation. You are wonderful and let's carry on baking... fb.watch/rUl11X-GtX/ via @FacebookWatch

I would like to know too…
I genuinely want to know why Diane Abbott drinking a mojito on the train caused more outrage than William Wragg compromising the security and privacy 12 of his colleagues?

I see that companies running children’s homes are stepping up their campaign against the Welsh Government for going ahead with plans to end for-profit children’s social care in Wales. This is pure self-interest, to defend the profits they earn from children in care.

The scandal of the outsourcing of children in care has echoes of the Post Office/Horizon scandal: a thousand injustices and failings that never quite add up to a front page story.

Not just £300m for Rwanda with no asylum seekers sent, under Rishi Sunak’s plan
Home Secretary confirms more payments to Rwanda in 2025 & 2026
Seems it’s now more like £400m taxpayers money
Govt is not just sending cheques, they’ve set up a direct debit
Total Tory chaos
