I give @Grammarly a 6/10. It's definitely helpful and I need it, but over the years I find that I'm saying no to more suggestions than yes. Editing via grammarly just takes too much time bc of this.
Just purchased my first book from @ThriftBooks! If you are looking to purchase a book online, there are alternatives to Amaz...plus free shipping after hitting a pretty low threshold (just two books in my situation).

You don’t own “web3.”
The VCs and their LPs do. It will never escape their incentives. It’s ultimately a centralized entity with a different label.
Know what you’re getting into…
While richer countries are generally happier than very poor nations, economic growth isn’t always correlated with greater happiness. And often countries that are generally far from the top economically, are either generally happier or nearly the same, but without much spending.
This graph displays income inequality of society against the general well being of a society. One important take away, is that this graph also shows that highly unequal societies end up losing out economically because they are so dysfunctional and short sighted.
As I've gotten older, I have come to realize how truly brilliant and real Tupac spoke (not just rapped).

We’re funding a failed fighter jet program that is projected to cost upwards of $1.7 trillion.
We’ve enabled U.S. billionaires to grow their wealth by $1.5 trillion during the pandemic alone.
Don’t tell us we "can’t afford" $12 billion to restore the expanded child tax credit.

According to the Congressional Budget Office, making the 2021 expansion of the child tax credit permanent would cost $1.597 *trillion* over 10 years.

As for the F-35 program, the $1.7 trillion represents all costs over its 66-year lifetime through 2070.

Hoping you can help me make sense of something. When I look at data down race lines, it appears wealth for white Americans have remained fairly high. Because neoliberal policies, I would have thought there would be some decline...
correlated to real wages remaining basically flat for 95% Americans. Is this perhaps connected to the top 5% and .01% incredible growth? A median number I'd think would correct for that. How I'm thinking about this wrong? Thank you
PS. @ColinGordon6 I shared your post, "As unions decline, inequality rises" on Hacker News the other day and it was one of the top posts that day. I bet it got ten of thousands of reads :)

This idea explains how humanity gets accustomed to injustice in general. We are all boiling in the pot, too busy chasing a story to realize.
Healthy social progress for all within a democracy isn't meant to be straight line. Democracy is meant promote participation above all.
Through participation, over the long term, healthy social progress should be the net result.
@joshuareeves worst customer service I have dealt with in a long time. Reps act nice, but really don't know what they are doing and constantly trying to push customers to contact other parties instead of fixing the issue on your end. Day #6+ trying to get a simple transfer done..
