This means that it is tantamount to your very personhood, and in a world not full of upside down clowns, it would fall under a bona fide 4th Amendment sanctuary. Palantir and others aggregate and distill terabytes of citizen personal data obtained through warrantless surveillance, and with no consent whatsoever. We already know Amazon’s Alexa has been caught surveilling households, and has independently (with no human compunction or defined injury) reported someone to a Washington State city police department. Amazon is also building infrastructure to link all Amazon Ring doorbells with real-time “Sidewalk” monitoring (it’s called Amazon Sidewalk), and AWS devices underpin everything from Cloudflare to Walmart. Palantir’s AI surveillance tech has already been acquired by over 800 US state police agencies, with hundreds more in the pipeline. Their own CEO recently said OUT LOUD on a shareholders call, “we occasionally do things we can’t talk about”. Meaning they are doing things the American People would flip out about, if they had full transparency and access to the company’s “data”.
