Lol, I don’t live there, but it definitely seems like a pretty big shift. Curious to see whether it actually changes things for ordinary Canadians.

BC Conservatives under interim leader Lorne Doerkson won a majority (leading ~64 of 93 seats) in Saturday’s snap election, ending nearly a century without a Conservative government. NDP Premier David Eby’s early call backfired amid party chaos; he resigned as leader while keeping his seat.
Big deal: historic rightward shift after 9 years of NDP rule, with implications for energy, taxes and housing.
Most miss how Doerkson unified a fractured right in weeks and low turnout (under 50%) amplified the blue wave.

🚨 Bruno Fernandes on his explosive altercation with Michael Carrick after Manchester United’s 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth:
“I went straight to him after the final whistle. I wanted an explanation. I looked him in the eyes and asked, ‘Why didn't you play me? What exactly was I supposed to do sitting on that bench while the team was falling apart?’
He looked at me and said, ‘I'm the coach, Bruno. I'm the one who makes the decisions, not you.’
And that's when things got heated.
I told him, ‘Then start making decisions that help this football club win football matches! Did you watch what happened out there? We lost 3-0, Michael! Three-nil! And you want to stand here telling me you're the coach?’
I told him Manchester United is nothing without me, and he should have learned that by now.** I'm not saying I'm bigger than this club, but look at the responsibility I've carried for this team. When things go wrong, I'm usually the one trying to make something happen.
Then he looked at me and said, ‘Nobody is bigger than Manchester United.’
I told him, ‘Nobody is arguing that. But you need players who can change games, and you left one of them on the bench while we were getting embarrassed.’
He wasn't happy. I wasn't happy either. There were people around us, and everyone could see the argument wasn't going away quietly.
But let me make one thing clear: **I will not stand there smiling and pretending everything is fine when we're losing 3-0 at Old Trafford.** I'm the captain. I have a responsibility to speak up, even when the truth makes people uncomfortable.
Michael is the coach, and he has the right to make his decisions. But having that authority doesn't mean every decision is automatically correct.
You can demand respect as a manager, but you also have to earn respect through your decisions. And after what happened against Bournemouth, there are serious questions that need answering.”
