Had to rock the @WallyHSInvALS at Orange Theory tonite honoring a great man, husband and father. Always Fight ALS. Excited to head back to work with @CoachSeaver & @WellesleyHoops this December on Team Culture. Wally would be very proud of what Paul is doing on the court & off

Thank you Wally Seaver tournament! What a great experience & on a lot of levels. Scituate finished weekend 3-1, wrapping up Sunday with hard-fought win over Wilbur Cross High School (CT) & tough semifinal loss to a talented Stonington High School (CT) team. @scituatehoops

Thanks @WallyHSInvALS for your effort to create opportunity and honor your Dad! The best things happen when people have a passion for something and flush all their energy into it! Well done!

Paul Seaver misses his father every day. The @WallyHSInvALS is a way to honor him, support ALS research and inspire young players.
“My biggest goal, when he passed away, was just to keep his name alive and keep his legacy alive.” He’s doing exactly that.

FOXBOROUGH — With dozens of games, hundreds of players, and thousands of dollars to monitor, Paul Seaver doesn’t have much time to pause and truly soak in the scene at the Wally Seaver High School Invitational.
When he does take a moment to reflect — on a sunny Sunday afternoon in late July, outside the Mass Premier Courts in Foxborough — Seaver is immensely proud of how far the event has come in its 15th year.
Not because of the work he has done personally, but because of the work the basketball community has done together to honor his father Wally, who died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis at age 53 in 2013: bostonglobe.com/2026/07/26/s… @GlobeSchools @WallyHSInvALS

Former Big Red player Amelia Leighton, who coached North Attleborough: "It’s absolutely amazing. I love them so much. They were my teammates, and now I get to coach them. They all worked together and hustled when I needed them to."
On senior Ula Malynka: "I literally pulled her out, and I was like, ‘You need to keep shooting. I don’t care if they go in. I need you to shoot.’ She was on fire." @GlobeSchools @jfeid3 @NAHSGirlsBB @WallyHSInvALS
