@YouTubeInsider @TeamYouTube I think the AI filter Youtube is using started to make some of my videos dangerous to watch. Look at the flicker they're producing when watched on the PC (not phone) youtube.com/watch?v=xQqgybEi… This hasn't happened before and only happens on some videos

I'm not sure I understand. The direct quote doesn't state is as light travel time but is "3.8 billion light-years away" - which is distance. Isn't it kind of like Han Solo using parsecs to talk about time it took him to finish Kessel Run? Wait...was Han Solo the cosmologist?

This is incredible, but is the distance correct? it should be 4.35 billion light years away BUT the light took 3.8 billion years to reach us. best to communicate large distances in red shifts as it confuses people otherwise. (redshift for this was measured to be 0.335)

Also just to clarify again. The YouTube system is removing science reference links from science videos marking them as scam. I don't know how else to explain this but this is not ok

I've checked the link. Every link removed so far was not under the guidelines. These were automated removals and they were in error. But 5 in a month is a bit too much

Here is the last link that was removed instantly as soon as video went up https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3847/1538-4357/acec76

I'm sorry I didn't make it clear. These are reference links that are not part of the guidelines. I'm providing links to studies and papers. Each of the links was restored after I appealed it but it's just a bit annoying that it keeps happening.

Every link removed was from a long video and every one of them was a science papers link. Here was the recent video where astronomy link was tagged youtu.be/Jm7omDy5_38?si=Ipoz…

@TeamYouTube For the 4th time in a month now I got a message saying a link inside a video is removed because it's spam/scam. Those links have always been from Nature magazine/wikipedia or other science magazines. All of them were references of the topic in the video.

Joke's on you. It's an airship
The Hybrid Air Vehicles Airlander 10 is a helium airship with auxiliary wing and tail surfaces, it flies using both aerostatic and aerodynamic lift and is powered by four diesel engine-driven ducted propellers.

This didn't age well
'I cannot seriously believe in [quantum mechanics] because the theory cannot be reconciled with the idea that physics should represent a reality in space and time, free from spooky actions at a distance.' -Albert Einstein to Max Born March 3, 1947 #histSTM

The final resting place of the Luna-Glob (#Luna25) spacecraft... or at least some idea where to look for it! Context: russianspaceweb.com/luna-glo…

NEW: THREAD: Ronan Farrow’s expose on Musk is out. It’s a MUST READ. Here are some stand-out moments. Musk deliberately throttled Starlink - the communications system Ukraine was relying on in battle. He held it hostage for $400M at critical points in the war. 1/

There's a way to modify space engine star and planet placement using txt files. Maybe a start?

It's a lenticular galaxy, you can see the disk shale in the image. It just doesn't have arms
