True test of character is how you behave when no one is watching and how you act when you can do all that you want. The difference between you can, you may and should you, truly defines who you are. #RandomThoughts

When Japanese filmmaker Yugo Sako wanted to adapt Ramayana, he spent a decade studying multiple translations. He was so genuinely moved by the text that he decided only animation as a reverent art form was capable of depicting the story with purity. Meanwhile Indian filmmakers:

Por qué Dark siempre será la mejor serie de la historia? 1. Todo acaba teniendo sentido, no se dejan ningún cabo suelto. 2. El casting y los parecidos es de los mejores que se hayan hecho jamás. 3. La música es excelente. 4. Tiene las temporadas justas y necesarias.

This paper answers why can’t you remember being a baby? For over a century, science said you can't remember being a baby because your infant brain was just too "immature" to record anything. researchers assumed your hard drive was basically turned off for the first two years of life. But this wild paper from Yale completely rewrites how we understand human memory.. Researchers literally put awake babies (between 4 and 25 months old) into an fMRI scanner to watch their brains process new visual experiences in real-time. and what they found is mindblowing.. the infant hippocampus isn't turned off at all. it is actively firing, capturing, and encoding episodic memories. they proved that babies with higher hippocampal activity during a new experience formed a highly stable memory trace. the babies are recording the data. the memory of your first birthday, your first steps, the exact layout of the room you slept in.. it was all successfully saved to your brain. so why can't you remember it? the paper concludes that infantile amnesia isn't an "encoding" problem.. it is a "retrieval" problem. your brain recorded everything perfectly. but as you grew, your brain underwent massive developmental shifts, like explosive neurogenesis (the rapid birth of new neurons), which completely restructured your neural networks. the pathways to access those early files got buried or locked away. you didn't fail to make the memories.. you just lost the encryption key to open them. somewhere deep in your hippocampus, the exact first-person memory of being a 1-year-old might still be sitting there. you just can't access the file anymore.. the human brain is terrifyingly beautiful.

Today, the calendar makes a right triangle, for the last time this century. This Saturday is October 24, 2026. Write it as 10/24/26 or 24/10/26, and the same beautiful relationship appears: 10² + 24² = 26² 100 + 576 = 676 But here’s what makes today special. There are infinitely many Pythagorean triples. Only a handful fit our calendar. Using the rule month² + day² = (last two digits of the year)², the month cannot exceed 12, and the day cannot exceed 31. Those small limits leave exactly 12 qualifying dates in this century. Today is the last. The next will be March 4, 2105: 3² + 4² = 5² That is a wait of more than 78 years. An infinite family of triangles. Just twelve appearances on a century’s calendar. Happy Pythagorean Triple Day.

A 72 year old man in Guntur got a knee replacement in June 2025. Within a month, the artificial joint was infected by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a bacterium resistant to a wide range of antibiotics, including carbapenems. Months of washouts, a spacer exchange, an arthroscopy and weeks of intravenous antibiotics followed. By Dec, his pain was 9/10. The infection kept returning. Doctors judged further surgery unsuitable given his age and condition. The team then tried bacteriophages: viruses that infect specific bacteria. For those interested in the science, this is where the work gets interesting.... Dr Sutharsan Govindarajan's phage lab at SRM University-AP tested the patient's own bacterial isolate against a panel of phages. 3 were selected and genome-sequenced. In lab tests, each phage alone initially killed bacteria, but this strain subsequently regrew. The 3 phage cocktail suppressed that regrowth. The cocktail was delivered into the infected knee through a drainage tube over 10 days. The antibiotic colistin was given alongside from day 2. Lab tests had shown that the combination worked better against this strain than either treatment alone. - On day 6, colistin was stopped after kidney function worsened. The phage treatment continued. - By day 10, tests of the joint fluid no longer detected the resistant bacterium. Pain had fallen from 9 to 2-3, and the man could walk independently again. His inflammation marker returned to normal a few days after treatment ended. - At 6 months, he remained antibiotic-free with no recurrence reported. A joint-fluid culture in June 2026 showed no growth of the pathogen. The clinical team was led by Dr Kalyan Chakravarthy Koganti at Samishta Hospital (SHRI), Guntur. The authors describe this as, to their knowledge, India's 1st reported successful phage treatment of a carbapenem-resistant prosthetic joint infection. Bharat is rising. 🙏🙏 Source: B.
