There’s a delightful documentary I’ve just discovered, made by a father/son team called #WhyDinosaurs? that you should watch if you’re a dino fan 🦖🦕 It’s quality fan film really, the son is a real dino geek and it gets into the fossil preparation aspect. Free on YouTube too!

Finally watching @WhyDinosaurs since it’s been added to YouTube. About 2/3s in, it’s excellent. I hope they run a sequel so I can take them through the Carnegie! Also makes me itching to get back in the field this summer! PS- Mochi seemed to relax watching it 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

THANK YOU. I'm so glad that Why Dinosaurs? said this. It's one thing that really frustrates me about the discourse surrounding Jurassic. Because while you can argue exactly how accurate it should be. At the end of the day it is not a documentary, It's science-fiction.

I just watched the documentary Why Dinosaurs? I thoroughly enjoyed it, it's a great documentary that touches on various facets of palaeontology. From the methods to the history to media depictions and everything in-between in a digestible manner. I would absolutely recommend.
