🇪🇺 My fellow Europeans You have to fight ChatControl 💪 Don't let @vonderleyen read your chats! metalhearf.fr/posts/chatcont…

ChatControl wants to scan all your private messages

The EU is pushing legislation that would scan all our private messages, even in encrypted apps.

Germany is planning to expand its anti-discrimination law to include sexual identity. “All people are equal before the law” in the Basic Law — the German constitution — currently covers gender, race, language, and origin. The amendment aims to strengthen protections for LGBTQ+ individuals. Statistics show anti-LGBTQ+ violence is on the rise.

Happy Warrior Entertainment is so proud to have produced this incredible project. Now, more than ever, we need the wisdom of our intellects, the patriotism of our citizens, and the passion and talents of those who still believe in the American experiment. I am deeply grateful to Timothy Snyder for his 20 Lessons On Tyranny and for talents of the brilliant John Lithgow for bringing them to life. Great thanks to David Bender for his vision, the support of Abigail Disney, Susan Disney Lord, and Timothy Disney, and the imagination and direction of Sean McGowan, the producer of the PoliticsGirl Project.

“United in diversity” - such a beautiful slogan of our ever-growimg European Union! The unity in rich diversity of our shared #culturalheritage, both tangible & intangible, demonstrates the full meaning of this motto. This is vital for our sense of #togetherness! @europanostra

We are united in diversity. But what does it mean? The EU's motto ‘united in diversity’ was first used in 2000, this year marking its 25th anniversary. It symbolises how Europeans have come together to work for common values, while promoting different cultures and languages.

Curious why the Trump campaign keeps attacking us? Because they're worried @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz are cutting into their lead with white dudes in this election. Today, we're releasing a series of new videos with folks who have voted for Donald Trump in the past telling their story about why they're now voting for Harris. Watch our first one here:

Uhm I found it now on #Mastodon. The two seem to agree. Maybe switching from one platform to another doesn't solve our problems #JackDorsey

#Mastodon is by far the social platform of choice when #scientists move from #twitter. Researchers can own and publish material without getting hidden by algorithms or risk losing their accounts and outlets. mastodonsweden.se/@doktorzji…

Michelle and I will always be grateful for Clarence’s friendship and wise counsel. Our thoughts are with his family and everyone whose life was touched by a truly remarkable man.
Graphic with statement by President Obama and Mrs. Obama on the passing of Clarence Avant. Clarence Avant was one of our favorite people. He exemplified a certain level of cool and street smarts that allowed him to move confidently into worlds that nobody had prepared him for, never doubting he could figure it out. Clarence was part of a generation that served as a bridge from a time when there was very little opportunity for Black people to a time when doors began to open. He demanded the world make room, and he paved the way for the rest of us. Michelle and I will always be grateful for Clarence’s friendship and wise counsel. Our thoughts are with Nicole, Alex, Ted, and everyone whose life was touched by a truly remarkable man.

Just got rate limited at my 6,000th tweet and had to leave my office and spend time with my wife and kids for the first time in years. Turns out they’re really cool people.
