When progressives want to claim that winning politicians are really progressive not moderate, what they do is pick out a handful of progressive stances the candidate took.
But then after the election, progressives act as ruthless enforcers of a totalizing orthodoxy.
Lmao this ain’t the DSA not even try to hide it “oh a woman? Gonna be much harder to lock us down” lmfao
Who’s the left candidate in 2028?
- no one knows
- frmer AOC spox tells me if she decides to run, it shouldn’t be bc there’s no one else
- DSA tells me if AOC runs & they consider endorsing her, it’ll be more contentious than when they backed Sanders

Minnesota governor-elect @amyklobuchar (D) on who she will appoint to fill her Senate seat: "I will do right by the state of Minnesota with that person."

Schumer flipped literally every seat that was actually difficult. Leftists flipped...Maine, a blue state, in the biggest blue wave of my lifetime.
Schumer won Mississippi, Iowa, and probably Alaska. Leftists won zero elections that anyone with a pulse and a D next to their name wouldn't have taken down

My biggest question about the decade-long Bernie insurgency is ... what was this all about? What do the insurgents think the Sanders Administration would have done other than get wiped out in the 2018 midterms?

Roy Cooper and Jon Ossoff won by 20 points. Moderate Democrats won seats in Kansas, Iowa, and Mississippi. Every Democrat in the country defended their seat. From this, we must obviously conclude that voters are fed up with the Democratic establishment.
I only wish that this happened when they were running evil ass Glenn Greenwald articles every day

Supreme secured a deal with NYC Licensing under the Mamdani administration 🗽
According to recently published documents, Supreme has struck a deal with New York City allowing the brand to use government-owned trademarks on items through 2028, with an option to extend the agreement through 2030.
The legal notice reveals that the agreement covers official city trademarks, including the NYPD, FDNY, Department of Sanitation, and 'Made in NY.'
Supreme has already released clothing and accessories featuring these trademarks this season, do you own any of it?

These seem like cool, healthy guys, who are in no way working out racially-coded psychosexual resentments and anxieties in public

Adam Hamilton is a centrist pastor running in Kansas and only underperformed El-Sayed (running in the most blue-leaning swing state) by 1.5 points. Given the environment and the political tilt of their respective states, the two worst performing Democratic Senate winners were El-Sayed and Troy Jackson
I don't point shit like this out just to make it clear that the left is delusional (although I do enjoy that) but it's just absurd that this Democratic Senate class is actually *more conservative* than the Democratic Senate class it is replacing because of Democratic victories in Kansas, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, and possibly Alaska and Mississippi and yet the left thinks we should defer to them because they gave us our two biggest underperformers in races anyone would have won in this environment
In terms of margin of victory, El-Sayed underperformed every other statewide Democrat who was up for election in Michigan

They won the Maine Senate seat is what they did! They're brave and hard-working staffers, and in this house Democratic operatives in Washington are heroes. End of story.
Just caught this very 👀👀👀 nugget from @Alex_Roarty about how Dems took Maine washingtonsun.com/campaigns/…
