BREAKING: United CEO Scott Kirby, during the Q3 earnings call, says customers are switching airlines solely for @Starlink and staying with United.
“Starlink, a new and truly differentiating RASM tailwind in 2027. Today, about half of United departures are on Starlink-equipped aircraft, but we offer more Starlink flights than the entire U.S. airline industry combined.
Importantly, we're seeing evidence that Starlink is a motivating factor for customers to choose which airline they fly. That's why we launched a new tracker so people can check that their flight has it and can follow along as we outfit our fleet.
It's hard to get brand-loyal customers to switch airlines. Customers who are brand-loyal to other airlines and have flown them for years switch to a United flight solely because of Starlink."

Europe's two best-selling cars in September were both Teslas.
Model Y was #1 with 40,971 registrations, up 55% from a year ago. Model 3 was #2 with 25,057, more than double. The VW Golf was a distant third at 18,088.
Tesla set its best month ever in Europe with 66,035 registrations, beating the old record from March 2023. Model Y is now Europe's best-selling car of 2026 so far, passing the Dacia Sandero.
