Why does absolutely everything need to be so relentlessly stupid?

What proportion of people are self made and properly rich?
Fairly small, right?
Then the standard 'system' route was not likely to get you there.
There's nothing wrong with degree and job, but it'll only lead towards more average results.

People making their own decisions with their own resources is the only sort of democracy I'm interested in.
It's the cleanest form of genuine individual and distributed agency - not the concentrated power of the centralised mob rule you clearly want.

It's by convincing someone to accept a 'small' lie that a fatal hole breaks in their integrity.
Once we allow ourselves to be bullied into loudly proclaiming obvious nonsense we don't believe, we surrender our own mind.

We've all been there.
You crimp off a shit and realise there's no bog paper left.
I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
My government will add six more sheets to every roll of bog paper.
It's a small change, but it's a practical way to help people
All the socialist dipshits angrily insisting they don't want a flying car.
Don't worry about it, you can't afford it.
Bird food is terribly expensive, and we spend about a grand a year feeding the critters in the garden, but it's worth it when Mr Robin turns up with his little family.
When you've got a group school project, and the thick kid who did absolutely nothing wants to take credit for it.
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.

0 crashes or fatalities since Ryanair's 1985 start and you can see Europe with fares at the price of only 6 Rustlers microwavable burgers, to put it in value terms that these fat gobshites might understand.
Truly a miracle of capitalism.
You'd hope they'd travel and broaden their minds, but nah

Ryanair flies you entitled chavs around for basically free, but you just can't accept a good deal and think you deserve so much more for your £16.99.
Time to call for big Daddy government. Clearly you're being ripped off, you stupid fuckwits.

This has always been a country of kebab shop gang rapes.
I visited Hiroshima last week. In all the memorials and exhibits, it was notable that, while they highlighted the horror of the people caught up in it, they accepted it as a consequence of Japan's choice to start their war.
'Hope' is a key theme for the authoritarian thick left for good reason.
Hope is the non-committal, vague resort of those without any agency or intention of doing anything for themselves. It's the opposite of ambition, drive and effort.
It's submission and dependence.
The solution is to require refugees have a UK sponsor(s) who are legally responsible for the costs associated with taking in that person.
You want to wave 'refugees welcome' banners, ok, but you pay a personal cost and put your money where your mouth is. Zoe here will provide shelter, food, health etc etc for all the refugees she wants to welcome.
