If you live in NORTH CAROLINA check your ballot!!!!!
⚠️ Thousands of North Carolina midterm ballots are set to be rejected.
The reason? State Republicans passed strict new mail voting rules right before a crucial deadline.
It’s a stark example of how GOP-backed voting restrictions can directly disenfranchise eligible voters: demdock.com/4isPxvr

Concerned residents packed the Utah County Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday after it unanimously approved a widely unpopular data center ordinance without allowing public comment.
Police quickly moved on concerned residents – including swarming one young woman, dragging her out of the room, and slamming her onto the ground. The woman was left with a concussion and a bruised and swollen jaw. She spent the night in the ER after being released from jail.
An emergency rally was called for Wednesday in response to the brutality. Community members are demanding the termination, arrest, and prosecution of the offending officer – identified as Phil Crawford.

Well written and reasoned as to why #NFL does not deserve benefit of doubt on Jalen Hurts
The biggest counterpoint, IMO, is that Hurts’ agent partnered with the team in releasing statement about his condition. This is not an endorsement of how everything was handled but is an indication of being on the same page

From @TheAthletic: If the NFL truly acted in the best interest of Jalen Hurts, one of its most decorated and well-known players, an investigation should substantiate that, our columnist writes. The league and the Eagles should have nothing to hide.
