.@DCDPR’s Senior Division is kicking off December in full Holiday Spirit! Jingle Jam is underway at the Chevy Chase recreation center featuring DPR’s very own Shirleta Settles. Good to have a full house at this special event.

Great turn out for our closing ceremony for @DCDPR #DCSeniorGames. Now it’s on to Pittsburgh for @SeniorGames1 to defend our title. Let’s go!

It’s our 1st @DCDPR intergenerational cruise— one of many intergenerational events we hold to bridge the gap between our youth & seniors. We’re out on @SpiritCruises ‘Spirit of Baltimore.’ Looks like our seniors are showing our teens how it’s done! 💃🏾🕺🏾

My baby girl is starting volleyball with the best of the best, Coach @Janee_Hayes at @SpikedCityDC. Check out Spiked City. We’re working on getting her into some @DCDPR centers soon. spikedcitydc.com/

All I said was, “walk?”

Ring #AlwaysHome okay @FedExPolicy @FedEx @FedExHelp this is how my moms package was delivered. She thought it was stolen. Can we get to the bottom of this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ring.com/share/79944db2-532f…

Wow, I’ve calling the passport office since 8am and it’s rung busy. @RepCohen I may need your help getting an appointment for a last minute renewal.

Really happy to see a resource like this *inside* the city. Equity is important. DC parents shouldn’t have to drive kids to Ashburn or Olney to participate in a sport at a competitive level.

Great book. Reading everything this man went to try to overcome the systemic, persistent racism working to pin him down was not surprising but still mind boggling. This bit of “past”isn’t too far from the present. Found it at @chbooksdc. Thanks @BPoehler for telling his story.

A great week for our senior division @DCDPR. Lots of activities but an especially high point for me was our Mother’s Day celebration where we recognized DC’s centenarian mothers. These incredible women represent the soul of our city & are part of why I love what I do. #MothersDay

Just wanted to share my daughter’s @GSCNC cookie video because she worked hard on it. #girlscouts #girldad

Thanks @delanohunter. There’s something for everyone in our Seniors’ programming this Spring. We’re excited to emerge from the pandemic stronger than ever w/ @DCDPR special events & programs to engage our Senior athletes, gamers, & 💃🕺 fans alike this 2022 & beyond. Stay tuned!

Thanks for sharing, Nichole. Stacey Stewart put it exactly right— if you’re committed, sports can take you anywhere. I’m proof. @sportsmomfdtn, I’d love to connect sometime!

This is a great memory. It was June of 2012 when my 6th grade Maryland Lady Hoopsters won a U.S. Junior National Championship. Many of these girls went on to play on scholarship at @GatorsSR & @HolyChildTigers. A few weeks ago my daughter’s teacher said she recognized some faces.

Growing up watching @wwos, I never thought the incredible Curly Neal would be my teammate. Even more special, he was my friend. One of the most talented, recognized & beloved faces in the world. He belongs in Naismith @Hoophall. Sign our petition: bit.ly/3LZujDg

While I don’t agree with my wife & son on this issue, I’m proud of Ally for being a determined & tirelessly fierce mama bear. And I couldn’t be more proud of my son for standing up for what he believes in. He has never been afraid to speak up & advocate for himself & others. – at Washington, DC
