A few weeks ago veteran cornerback, Marco Wilson, was wondering if he’d ever play football again. Thursday night he started for the Carolina Panthers. After the game he talked about the transition and the emotions that came with it.

Todd Wash called a 4-3 under in JAX and it could be argued the #Panthers have better 4-3 talent (especially in under fronts) than 3-4 talent.
Hypothetically speaking, if they put in some of those looks...
Big end (5-tech): Derrick Brown, Aaron Hall
NT (1 Tech): Lee Hunter, Bobby Brown
3T: Turk Wharton (exponentially better fit here than anything they've asked him to do over the past two years), could use both Browns, Hunter, Hall and Pat Jones here, too.
LEO: Jaelan Phillips, Pat Jones, Princely Umanmielen, Trevis Gipson
WILL: Tyrel Dodson
MIKE: Devin Lloyd, Jackson Kuwatch
OTTO: Bobby Okereke, Jones, Gipson, Phillips

Best LB duos in the NFL through Week 6:
1. Lloyd/Okereke (CAR)
2. Jones/Thomas (SEA)
3. Edmunds/Reese (NYG)
4. Smith/Simpson (BAL)
5. Oluokun/Miller (JAX)
Carolina's LB duo ranked 22nd in these same categories in 2025. Now it's first. Incredible upgrade by Dan Morgan this offseason.

Tommy Tremble in the blocking game on consecutive Q3 runs.
@gregcosell told me, several years back, about Tremble’s college tape: “He’ll melt your face mask” as a blocker.
The man had a day.

Ejiro Evero's defense since Week 1:
Points allowed: 16.0 (2nd)
Rush TDs allowed: 0.5 (4th)
Yards per play: 4.71 (5th)
Yards allowed: 304.8 (8th)
Third down: 34.5% (8th)
Rush yards allowed: 92.5 (10th)
In hindsight, Chicago was the outlier. And he's coached the last two games without his top two corners.

Per @NextGenStats: Chuba Hubbard was hit behind the line of scrimmage on 17 of his carries but gained 56 yards on those runs.
Bully.

Bobby Okereke generated five pressures on 15 pass rushes (33.3%) against the Eagles in Week 6, all within 2.5 seconds of the snap, including a sack.
His five quick pressures were tied for third among inside linebackers in a game since 2018 and his most in a game in his career.
