So sad, Another non-London Drama School gone. (Twice now!) Lit more shows here than I can remember, fantastic students, great staff, fab supportive working environment
This is heartbreaking. The team at Rose Bruford Wigan are incredible and I love working there every time.
The atmosphere in the building is still incredible despite this terrible news. I just wish something could be done.
Rose Bruford College has closed its acting course and campus in Wigan – which it took on following the shock closure of ALRA in 2022 – in a move its leaders called a "solely financial decision".

What are people's thoughts on getting a Kindle? Is it a nice device to read on at night? The evening is when I do the majority of reading but I feel like maybe upgrading to a kindle could be more convenient?
I have also been given this advice lollll. I would like a secure place to live within the next five years but I just can’t see this happening. I’m so lucky for the support I have had from friends but I want to be able to support myself.
And of course designers, lighting designers, they're all going through this too. A brilliant young designer told me that, at a @_scene_change_ organised Q&A with an established designer, the career advice they were given was "get a rich husband"...
